We are GuestReady, a property manager, and we want to ensure your stay will be as smooth and comfortable as possible. We are available 24/7 should you need any assistance during your stay. Kindly note that this is a personal home so please take good care of it as if it was your own.

Caniço de Baixo is a modern resort area with stylish villas, hotels & holiday homes. Because it is a costal tourist zone, it has an excellent selection of facilities including restaurants, bars, 2 mini-market, 4 car hire outlets, souvenir shop & tourist shop.

There are a number of sport and spa hotels in the resort, each makes outside visitors very welcome and the facilities can be used for a small fee. All the hotels also offer evening entertainment. Almost all of the local hotels offer indoor [heated in winter], & outdoor swimming pools. Most have a Jacuzzi, sauna, gym, health & beauty centre, massages, beauty salon, spa treatments. All hotels offer a Happy hour 18.30 to 20.00 with nightly entertainment – outside guests are very welcome.

The town of Caniço, with a shopping centre & supermarkets, is 2.5 kilometres away and Funchal is 12 Kilometres. Both can be reached using the excellent regular bus service, which runs between Caniço de Baixo and Funchal. The bus stop is only 250 meters from the apartment.

The property is easily accessible by public transport and car.

Madeira Airport is a 10-minute drive from the property.

Before your check-in, we will send you your check-in options and where to pick up the keys. Please note that personal check-in with a concierge costs 10€, pending availability.

Once a reservation is confirmed, guests are requested to complete a guest registration form following the legal obligations stipulated by local authorities in Portugal.

We provide the basic amenities for the first use: samples of shower gel, shampoo, soap, toilet paper, kitchen roll, sponge, dishwashing products and bin bag. Please let us know if you need cleaning or extra linen; we will gladly provide an additional charge.

There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking on the property. If our team discovers evidence that this rule has been breached (e.g., smoke smell, ashes, butts, etc.), we fully reserve the right to charge a €200 smoking fee at a minimum.

Please note that for stays longer than 30 nights, a fair use policy of the utilities will apply with a limit of 80€.

Extra keys: 20€ (extra pair of keys when available, lost keys or service to open the door during your stay).

Extra cleaning with linen: the price of a cleaning fee.

Extra Clothing: 30€ (Towels and sheets for 2pax, i.e. when the sofa bed is not included).
