The Eagle Inn is a hidden gem with a convenient location. The management and staff were incredibly attentive. I especially recommend their casitas if you want a little extra space and more comforts of home. Definitely recommend.

This is a very nice boutique hotel, but they need to follow through on some details. It is located in a very quiet neighborhood of apartments, within walking distance of the harbor, the beach, and State Street, provided you like to walk. The rooms are nicely furnished in an attractive Spanish motif. The room is a decent size but not large. The bathroom had the hottest water of any hotel we've ever stayed in. If you dislike anonymous chain motels, you will like this small hotel. On the negative side, there is inadequate parking for all guests in the hotel lot, so you may be forced to park on the street. There is no elevator to the second floor so if you have any disability, you will be stuck on the first floor. There is no staff on duty from 10:00 PM until 8:00 AM so if there is any emergency, you will have to call them. The included breakfast was average.

Stayed in Queen Room with porch. Lovely. Fireplace. Spacious. Hardwood floors. Simple decor. Clean. But the roof leaked. ALOT. Drip Drip Drip all night. When I approached staff I was told to put a garbage can under the drip. I understand that this can happen in older buildings. But two nights of dripping, one into a garbage can does hamper best rest and also detracts from a sense of wellbeing and overall comfort of the room. The breakfast staff were outstanding; the food delicious. But desk staff (except the night staff) seemed completely unfazed by the fact that I showed up late to an unkempt room. When moved I was given the drippy room. Bikes were fun and really useful. Felt the desk staff was more scrutinizing than welcoming. Like I was an intruder in the hotel. I traveled as a single, and would seek out a similar accommodation type again, but maybe not the Eagle Inn.It is a great spot for being in Santa Barbara. Near the train station, and a lovely morning walk less than 2 minutes and you're on the back path and new the harbor. That was glorious.

I love the Spanish theme. The rooms are excellent- clean, so comfortable, and the atmosphere is homey and friendly.I enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. There is a choice of breakfasts and we were courteously served rather than helping oneself to a buffet.

Stayed in the King room, felt a little small and was near check in area. (listened to suit cases rolling over tiles during late hours) Would stay again in larger room and away from check in. (Go for King Suite or Larger)

The staff makes you feel at home, really comfortable room and breakfast is good

Sheets had black spots when I checked in. Requested new sheets and made our own bed. Noticed a bed bug monitor on the floor. Dining room closed and disgusting breakfast that never arrived our second morning. Wouldn't credit me for this.

Over all my experience was pleasant. If you happen to get the first room down stairs by the entrance do not take it . The room was noisy and I was woken up by the kitchen staff making breakfast at 6am

good hotel, staff was nice, room was clean, could use updating the design and decorations in room

Fine location. Two blocks from the beach, nice little lobby. Rooms were quaint but a bit small. Ours had a queen bed, would have preferred a king. Nicely renovated older building but a little noisy just from people moving about in other rooms. My wife liked it a lot and I would be OK with staying there again. Included breakfast was nice with wait staff but selections are limited. Good off-street parking. No regrets, we enjoyed our stay.

Love this hotel. Conveniently located with loaner bikes and breakfast included

The hotel is a great location. You can walk to the beach or half a mile to restaurants or bars. It has a fantastic breakfast that is included and cookies in the afternoon. The rooms are outdated in decorations but comfortable with a fridge and microwave.

This property is in a great location-walking distance to Stearn's Wharf, the Harbor, and the Funk Zone on State Street. It is a beautiful property and is well-maintained. They offer a different breakfast entree each morning, and the staff are extremely welcoming and helpful in arranging activities in the area. Would highly recommend.

Quaint, charming place to stay just a couple blocks off the beach. Not much of a view, but it's in a very quiet area. It's listed as a B&B, but actually, it's much more like a nicely decorated indie hotel. Staff was great and very helpful. I'd stay again for sure.

We enjoyed our stay at the Eagle Inn very much...very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. Very quiet and pleasant location. The only drawback, and it was minor, was the pillow....the one provided was too firm for me. Next time I will bring my own. We are looking forward to returning and will come by train since it is walking distance from the train station. I would unhesitatingly recommend it to others.

Room was a bit outdated and small, but comfortable. Convenient location.

My wife and I stayed here for two nights and we had a great experience. It feels homey and very welcoming. This is a small facility and the staff is friendly and very accommodating. Every morning we awoke to the smell of breakfast waiting for us. Small dining area where you had a choice of a hot prepared meal or a yogurt & cereal. The first morning it was waffles with scrambled eggs and sausage while the next, it was Mexican omelet. Each meal also came with a bowl of fresh fruits and a glass of orange juice. A huge selection of DVD’s (over 100) you can select from for free. We were in a small standard queen unit upstairs, but it fit our needs. Bed was very comfortable. Over 50 different TV channels with HBO. We could not have asked for more. It is located in a residential area, 2 blocks away from the street aligning the beach. Not too far a walk to State Street and the Stearns Wharf (maybe 1/3 a mile). We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful small hotel, great location , nice staff, good service, a real breakfast ... but surprisingly low end, uncomfortable pillows and bedding actually made it difficult to sleep! I don't like writing negative reviews, but I hope this one helps because it's the type of hotel that would otherwise gain loyal customers.

Close to the beach, walking distance to restaurants, very relaxing after leaving 4 days at Disney with the grandkidsp
