Downtown loft

This place is great. I would warn anyone who wants quiet away from this location as it can be loud due to the bars during the weekend, but the hustle and bustle of the downtown area is perfect.

Air Conditioner not working, fire alarm needs a battery

We only stayed one of the three nights we had booked because the air conditioning was not working, and the fire alarm needed a battery, both of which the host claimed she had never heard from other guests. As the only other guests were there in cooler months, the air makes sense. However, the fire alarm was brought to her attention in a previous review, and she simply turned off the breaker to the fire alarm. And since the alarm is about 20 feet in the air, as this is a loft apartment, we were unable to change the battery. After failed attempts to get the A/C fixed, we contacted VRBO support. After contacting VRBO support multiple times, we finally received a full refund, including cleaning from the host. I encourage possible renters to closely read all reviews. In the end, in my opinion, I do not believe this host meets VRBO's home away from home standard at this time.

BEWARE! parking structure toll-Info states paid parking-you pay parking.

Dec 2024: Floors--very dirty. In 20mins, my son's feet were black. Area rug was stained w/grayish-black soot. Found broken glass w/one piece stuck to the contrete & dried blood stains. No cleaning supplies to clean--only a broom. They had hand & dish soap, 3 big towels, 1 hand towel, 3 washcloths, 1 full set of sheets, 2 pillows & thin duvet like comforter for the murphy bed, 1/2 set of sheets, and 1 pillow for the loft bed in the closet. The loft smelt of mildew/mold and really bad human body odor. Thursday night, my son tried to sleep up there & got sick from the smell. He slept on the concrete floor on the dirty area rug with minimal bedding. The roller shades didnt work correctly. I notified the Host of the issues the folllowing morning. Her response--tell cleaning people for next visitors. Friday night the smoke detector started chirping@3am. The host was notified Saturday@8am re: the smoke detector. Host responded 1hr later--maintence will be there @11am to fix it. No one showed. I msg her again @5pm that no one showed. Her response was maintence will be there @11am Sunday. I had to canceled my daily activities Sunday morning to ensure maintence fixes the smoke detector. Host responds 1hr later with "You canceled your activities for a smoke detector beeping?" By 11:30am Sunday, I had called VRBO twice RE: failure to fix faulty smoke detector. Many issues with this stay. Location and style of propety were great. Lack of hospitality from host.

Nice Rental, Great Night Life

The rental is wonderful. The night life is amazing. It only receives a 4 rating because the bed was awful. I had to purchase an air mattress in order to sleep comfortably. Hopefully the management considers my recommendations and make changes to the bed for future guests.
