It’s a beautiful place would not mind going back again i enjoyed the pool and the fitness room they had, but the second day i was there, i ended up getting charged 500$ from the resort for no reason when i had booked this resort in may so i talked to the staff and they told me they didn’t see anything, so i contacted Expedia and sent them a statement of the change, they told me they will get to the bottom of this and they told me ill get my money back in 3-5 business days.

Its a beautiful property but poorly managed. We were there for a 3 day stay for a softball tournament. 1st afternoon we were able to use the pool. They made everyone get out of pool because supposedly there was a lightning strike within 10 miles. But golfers kept golfing and cedar point was open. This resort is ran by cedar point. 2nd day at the pool the mall cop pool guard made everyone get out of pool because the handicap chair wasnt working.Yes, it doesnt make sense..So the amenities that the resort has and you pay for get used very little. Disappointed to say the least

Loved the ability to walk to the first tee of the golf course! The staff at the course was extremely friendly and helpful. Front desk at the resort was also very helpful and made check in very easy.

This was our 3rd time staying at Saw Mill. The new remodel is amazing! Everything looked clean, but there is an odor in the rooms that is not pleasant. I’m not sure if it is in the carpet or the a/c filters but it is an unpleasant sweaty sock odor. Many hotels have switched to lvp flooring that can be mopped clean. Removing the carpet might remedy that. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

Dirty bedding, asked for new, received right away. Very thin walls. Service was amazing, staff was great. Seems like Management/Owners overlook details and care to meet bottom line. Everything (minus staff) was cheap except the price of the stay.

Overall good experience. We only stayed overnight. Went to bed pretty early to leave early. Front desk told us we were charged $28 for frozen daiquiris which blew our minds because we didn’t eat or drink anything while staying on the property. They said they’d clear the charge, but we will see in a few days.
