Mayflies are bad in June.. not hotels fault. Ok place. Beds are small. Fridge in the room but no microwave ?? Went up for the Put in Bay pirates weekend.. had fun!

I LOVE that they have a patio facing Lake Erie that makes for wonderful waterside relaxation. The room had some wallpaper pealing off and there was a beer bottle cap on the floor near the edge of the bed which I luckily noticed while I had shoes on, but the towels, pillows and sheets all looked clean, so I could ignore the shortcomings for the wonderful location!

It is not terrible but disappointing. Spend a few more bucks and go somewhere better.

There some sort of snafu with our reservation and the hotel staff were very accommodating and gave us a suite at the same price.

I could never recommend this hotel. It has mold in the bathtubs and dirty carpets. The biggest problem with out stay is that our room was not cleaned one day. I talked with the manager about it and she just said "I'm sorry". I asked her if she realized what we had paid for rooms 115 and 109. She said it is Christmas in July. I asked if we would get a credit toward our bill. She said that she could see no reason for a credit just because our rooms had not been cleaned. I have stayed in many hotels around the world. I have never had this experience before. There are times when my room may not be cleaned until 4 or 5 PM because the housekeepers are busy cleaning rooms that have been checked out of but my room has always been cleaned. I have never met such a rude and uncooperative general manager. I forgot to add that I had to go and buy some room freshener because of the foul odor in the rooms.

Clean but somewhat dated. Could take better advantage of waterfront view although the deck by the lake was inviting though small for the number of guests staying there. The breakfast bar was neat, clean and well attended to. Price was affordable. Would not choose for extended stay.

The hotel was right on the lake, allowing us to sit out and watch the water. Beautiful. The staff was friendly, and the hotel very clean.

Great Place to stay while fishing in Lake Erie.Free Breakfast saves time in am.

The hotel is not walking distance from the ferry. However, the hotel provided a shuttle. We booked this hotel for my sisters Bachelorette Party. Breakfast was included in the price. The rollaway in our room was comfy too.

The rooms and the bathrooms were not the cleanest. The water was hot for our showers in the morning. Ample amounts of towels and wash cloths were available. The beds were for the most part comfortable. The pool area looked out onto the lake, great view!!! Close to the Jet Express and some decent restaurants. We would stay there again but will mention the cleanliness of the rooms during the reservation process.

The room was just average and what you'd expect in a cheap hotel chain. Although it was nice that it had a microwave and a small refrigerator. The pool was nice also even though it was too chilly to swim. The back deck looking at the lake was nice to sit out on. I was pleased to have a free breakfast in the morning too. The staff didn't seem very friendly though. Overall it was a decent stay, but the price was a bit too much.

1st -the staff was pleasant and helpful. I was tied up in traffic and called to insure my reservation was secure. I was assured in a very pleasant manner not to worry they would hold it. Half of the lights in my room didn't work and there was only one waste can for the entire suite. Most troubling was the fact that many of the tv channels did not work due to not being changed over from analog to digital. There was no list in the room of what channels were what.

Great view of the lake. Comfortable bed. Modest hotel, but great value for the price.

Staff was kind and helpful with everything. Room was clean and comfortable. Was a very short drive to our event.

Good location, free breakfast and nice pool area. Convenient location to downtown Port Clinton and the Jet boat.

Well...we were surprised, How nice it was...very kind people..perfect location from our Jet express and Draw bridge Marina trips...and the BREAKFAST was great...we sure will stay there again..and perfect spot to see fire works for Our 13 year anniversary July 4, Thanks again,Bonnie and Bobby Mahaffey.

Wonderful experience as always. Great breakfast! Bring earplugs to cancel out the all-night-long train whistles

Arived early and was greeted at the desk by a friendly clerk. She welcomed me and pointed out the free breakfast. Some mildew stains in the bathroom, but nothing a good deep cleaning could take care of.

Booked a King Jacuzzi room for a Halloween weekend to celebrate our anniversary and take in some of the area wineries. The location was perfect with downtown PC just minutes away and Mon Ami about 10 minutes up the road. Ended up visiting Marblehead (25 min), and Firelands (20 min). Had we been using the Jet Express to the islands, it was just minutes away. Our biggest issue was the presence of hair in the tub, and what seemed like dog hair on the bed comforter when we arrived. I grabbed some Lysol wipes from the Dollar store across the street and wiped everything down, and the front desk attendant offered to wash the bedding, and gave us a fresh sheet set while the beadspread was in the laundry. When we got back from dinner everything was done and we were satisfied. The overall condition of the hotel is obviously older and needs some fresh carpet and paint. The smoke smell in the hallways was almost unbearable, but barely noticeable in the room especially with the help of 2 candles from the before mentioned dollar store across the street. Breakfast was great, Eggs, Sausage, make your own Waffles, and an assortment of fruit, cereal, bagels, yogurt and sweets. We were very impressed that this was this good, and FREE! The only other annoyance was the key cards kept loosing their programming and we kept having to walk down to the desk to get them re-programmed. Desk folks were more than polite, but what would have happened after hours when there is no clerk on duty? All in all, for the price, I would stay there again. However, you just need to come in with lower expectations.

friendly staff, better than average continental breakfast, clean room, good location for port clinton area
