The Squibb House was charming. We loved the location. It was an easy walk around the east village of Cambria. We loved staying in this historic house. Breakfast was delicious! We will be back!

A gem of gems!

This is a gem. The town Cambria is “hidden” in the beautiful hills of California and less than 2 miles away from gorgeous beaches. This Bed & Breakfast place is amazing. The quality of service, premises and food are outstanding. The historic house is idyllic and quaint yet offers all modern amenities. It’s located in the heart of town surrounded by a variety of art and antique shops, great restaurants and even an authentic French bakery. I’d go back to Cambria just to enjoy another stay there.

the hot water took several minutes to heat, room was dirty, it appeared to have been remodeled several years ago and not touched since. This is too bad because the location was great. we will not be back

It reminded me of my parents' house. But I think it is not being cared for as it deserves, the cleaning is very poor, dust and the smell of lack of cleaning, the carpets already needed water. The garden is disorganized and lacks care. It's a shame that such a beautiful property is not being preserved.

What it isn't: An easy access facility. A hotel chain with membership levels. Close to any Highway. What it has: Charm. Coolness. History. What it's made of: Wood. Overall: Relaxing in a very social atmosphere. Liked the breakfast. Slept like a dog.

Beautifully Cozy

It was my first time at a B & B and I absolutely loved it. Check in was a breeze. It was cozy, serene and so homey. Breakfast was a beautiful spread and the hosts were very friendly. I recommend it highly and when I go back I’ll be booking my stay at Squibb House again!!
