Has a ton of potential to be a really beautiful resort but enjoyed the rustic experience nonetheless. This is one of the most amazing little hotels I’ve stayed at. The property has a lot of character, beautiful decorations, friendly staff, and fantastic location close to El Tunco. The food prepared on site was delicious, and the rooms were very spacious, comfortable and tidy. I look forward to staying here again.

We booked Casa Sunzal at the last minute because our first accommodation was closed and canceled our reservation, but we couldn’t have been happier to end up at Casa Sunzal! The staff was so kind and helped us book surfing guides, board rentals, and a trip to Tamanique waterfall! The food was delicious and they were so accommodating. We would definitely stay here again!
