The nicest and most helpful were the waitress and bartender at the Melrose Restaurant and the bellhop at the front door. The reception desk was not helpful and gave very conflicting information depending on who was working. We understand that our stay was over a holiday, but our room was not cleaned over three days. The wing of the hotel where our room was had a terrible sewage smell as soon as the door was opened. We also experienced horrible mosquitoes in one of our rooms. The children had multiple mosquito bites on their faces while they were sleeping. Sadly, the outdoor pool and hot tub were very chilly despite being advertised as heated...and they closed at 6:00pm.
It's high standard hotel with just amazing staff. Everything is very clean. Location is fantastic, just by coast with ocean views.
Very quiet area, far away from everything. If you looking for relaxation, taking a walk on the rocky beach, than good choice.
Spacious rooms. The kitchen is equipped with everything necessary. The friendly staff. Near the hotel there is a small wild beach. The beaches of Las Americas need to go around 10 min by car
