Clean and new. That is the positive things to say. Very poor breakfast with very little to choose from. No bar/restaurant. Reception with poor english skills. No laundry service. I would not recommend it to anyone.
Slow internet it is clean hotel it has a great low price very very poor parking access to get in and out breakfast was "OK" and included in the cost of room For a short trip or for mid level employees, it is a good place for the price. The staff was very friendly, I speak Spanish and my wife is from Mexico so not sure if they spoke good English or not.
This is a nice hotel. Room is clean and as any City Express, it is very basic. Breakfast is OK. Don't expect too many options. If you are traveling through, this hotel is well located as you don't have to go through town. We would stay there again for an overnight but wouldn't lodge there on a visit to SLP.
Hotel is located on the same street of most of the hotels in San Luis Potosi , very comfortable , has free parking . Breakfast is the standard of the network, but if you are a vegetarian you can not eat half the things (the eggs were with meat) . The rooms are spacious , the shower is very clean and tidy, a new TV with cable channels of children . Can be ordered through a travel agency then you sometimes get a better price from the hotel itself .
We had a rush trip to this place and booked this hotel in a hurry. It isn't too bad, if you know City Express you know they are fairly basic hotels but decent rates, many business travelers stay here. They had a Carl's Jr. on the same lot, and a huge mall across the highway, but otherwise this is not a very good location. So much so that our friend who lives here was a little upset that we had booked a place so out of the way. The front desk staff here was reasonably helpful. Breakfasts here were quite good and geared towards being healthy and nutritious. One night we ate at a Cantina over beside the mall. It was dark and dim and we literally had to use the waiter's flashlight to see our menu. I am not kidding but the food was great. This City Express stay was nothing special but we will continue to book rooms here as we travel partly because you know what you will get - a minimalistic room that is nothing special but is adequate and affordable. We have found decent service in other locations too.
Good if you are not needing all the bells and whistles. This is a very minimalistic hotel. Room is meant to sleep in and not for lounging in. If you want a comfortable place to read a book or do some work then you need to go to the lounge area where breakfast is served. Continental breakfast is offered and is kept well stocked. Can hear those in other rooms around you.
We had a great one night stay and will definitely stay there on our way back. One problem only. I asked for a 0500 hr wake up call. Never got it. This made us 3.5 hours late crossing the Border. The room was just fine. Clean and comfortable and the price is excellent. The guarded parking is a definite Plus.
We have stayed in other City Express motels but this one was definitely sub standard. One of the services advertised is free internet which is important for me when traveling. In this case it was down on both days with no information on when it would be back up. The bathroom had a continuous nasty smell and there was no extractor fan to alleviate it. The bed sheets appeared to not having been changed since there were crumbs on the sheets and a stain on one side. The TV did not work initially and it was necessary to find another AC outlet that did work. Clearly it had not been checked prior to renting the room. Note that the only really local restaurants were fast food types - after driving all day we didn't feel like driving again to find something better.
