The staff was nice, motel pretty clean and comfortable. The AC unit controls were broken and it seemed to be a known issue that clerks knew about before we told them. The lights were super bright LEDs, so bright you could see more than you'd want to.

Okay for the weekend

Bed was horrible, felt like we were sleeping on a slope. Had to clean out shower drain because there was gobs of hair keeping it from draining. Think maintenance should clean out drains regularly.

Great budget friendly stay

I've stayed here a few times. The rooms are no-frills, but are consistently clean and comfortable. Front desk is helpful, plenty of parking, close to anything you need, and as a solo female traveler, I always feel safe here. I've stayed many places in this area (I have to trek back and forth from LA-Pismo frequently) and I wouldn't stay anywhere else in this price range.
