The space was fantastic, and also in a great location for us. Plenty of open space. The only challenge we had was checking in. The contract says 4pm, and they mean in. They said there is no wiggle room for an early check-in. When 4pm came so did the instructions, BUT we were not instructed which lock box to use, or where it was located. They did get back to us, but we weren't going to be back for a few hours. So we ended up not able to get into the unit until about 4 hours ater check-in time.

What a gem! Found this lovely place somewhat last minute for our family of five seeking a base for beach and El Yunque adventure. It’s a three to five minute walk to the beach and that’s just enough distance to be away from waterfront noise — there’s no ocean view from the condo but that’s about the only limitation. For most everything else (dining, Kioskos, groceries) we drove rather than take what would have been a longer walk. The apartment and parking space felt especially secure and the place — as advertised — felt new and spacious. It’s two stories with the bedrooms (comfortable mattresses) and main bathroom upstairs. The air conditioning really keeps rooms cool. Lots of beach equipment (chairs, coolers, boards) are available as well as a nice looking TV we never touched. The jacuzzi is an awesome way to bond — we ended every evening there even when it rained. The hosts are very communicative and responsive — their primary language is Spanish but they communicated to us in English and there were no issues. It was a perfect platform for our visit and we’d happily book there again.

This is an incredible find if you are looking for a laidback beach vacation. The photos don't even do it justice. The parking is very secure and the patio with hot tub (actually hot, a rarity in PR) is private. The kitchen is well stocked, and hosts provided lots of welcome goodies that we really appreciated! AC was great and everything was very clean when we arrived. A small, clean and quiet private beach is about a block away, and newish beach chairs, beach towels, cooler and boogie boards were provided. It is a very short drive to the famous kiosks & el yunque. We especially appreciated the hosts providing a few decorations and bottle of prosecco to help us celebrate a major birthday. Would absolutely stay here again!

I loved this VRBO. It was clean and felt spacious. The hot tub was nice, big, and had color changing lights. There was an outdoor shower plus ample room to relax on the patio. The kitchen had everything we needed. The hosts were thoughtful the entire time and provided a food supply which was nice as things were closed for New Years. They were very responsive through text and provided clear info for getting in the first day. It was a short walk to the beach. We bought body boards at Walmart and had a blast, plus visited waterfalls, and had a few meals out. The bed was supportive and soft. I highly recommend this place.

Good location within walking distance to the beach

The apartment is on the first floor, which we really enjoyed. The kitchen was clean and well equipped. Perfect for self-catering. There was a welcome gift from the host, which was a great start.We enjoyed the jacuzzi and the terrace and lovely living room. Beds very clean. The many locks were a bit annoying, but I think in Puerto Rico this is common and we were fine with it. It is a 3-4 minute walk to the beach. The people on the beach and in the street of the apartment were friendly, we felt very comfortable and also very safe. Shopping facilities within 5 minutes by car (Amigo supermarket, McDonalds, Walgreens), even within walking distance. We were in the rainforest and at Luminiscence Bay, all within easy reach. Beware of potholes and speed bumps on the roads, there are no warnings, but you have to be very careful. We liked setting off at 6.00 am to the Angelito Trail (about 22 minutes away) and experiencing the early morning rainforest there.
