This beach apartment is what you and your family are looking for a tropical getaway. The palm trees and the view to the ocean will take your breath away. The apartment is on the second floor of a three story building, a short walk up a set of stairs. You can walk out from the building to one of the most beautiful beaches in Puerto Rico. We are 25 miles from the San Juan airport and 30 miles from Old San Juan, nearby Rio Grande offers casinos and fine dining. Fajardo is within 15 minutes where you find natural attractions such as Las Cabezas de San Juan and the famous Bioluminescent Bay. El Yunque, not to be missed if you enjoy cascades, rainforest and hiking is only 15 minutes away. Supermarkets, banking, drug stores and restaurants are within walking distance.
This apartment is a three bedroom / two bath, perfect for families who enjoy nature and want a relaxing and stress free vacation. The master bedroom has king sized bed, ceiling fan and a wall A/C unit. The master bedroom also has its own master bath with a shower tub. The second bedroom has two full sized beds, ceiling fan and a wall A/C unit. The third bedroom has two single beds, ceiling fan and a wall A/C unit. We absolutely loved, loved, loved our stay here!The property is right by the beach, with fresh ocean air and an amazing, relaxing vibe. The apartment was very well maintained and especially great for families with kids. It had everything we needed — all utensils and household essentials — and we never once felt that anything was missing.What truly stood out was how thoughtfully the apartment was stocked for the beach. There were beach chairs, umbrellas, beach toys, hats, sunscreen, lotions — literally all the beach essentials. It made our stay completely effortless.Being right by the beach is a huge advantage — you can go straight into the water and come back to freshen up anytime. The beach right in front is Playa Azul, and Luquillo is just a 5-minute drive, which was very convenient.One of our favorite moments was having breakfast on the balcony — sipping coffee while watching the sunrise, palm trees, sand, and ocean waves. Truly priceless.The owner was very responsive, and overall the experience was wonderful.A lovely place and a lovely stay — highly recommend!

Martha was amazing! Excellent communication as well as helpful answers to local questions . The condo is very clean and modern with all the amenities of home. The views from kitchen living room and outside second floor patio were breathtaking and looked like a movie backdrop. You can hear the sounds of the ocean and watch the Palms wave in the breeze. The neighbor was very pleasant and safe. Loved watching the earlier morning walkers. Easy access of freeway, stores etc . Very close to El Yunque and Luquillo beach. Looking for a great accommodation when traveling and especially with family members with different wants and likes is not always easy. Villa Palmer checked all of our boxes and I would highly recommend it! Thanks for the great home away from home! We will be back.

Check in/out was great. Area was beautiful! Condo was very secure - needed keys to get both in and out. That took some getting used to, but worked ok with the extra set of keys. Wifi didn't work in the back bedrooms sometimes, but was ok to disconnect a bit.Place was well stocked with supplies and beach chairs etc. no ice maker, so we had to get some bags.. We really liked it overall.. the deck & view off the deck was beautiful.

Villa Palmar, Luquillo, Puerto Rico

Had a wonderful time. Check in and check out were smooth with easy to follow instructions. Condo is fantastic with great view off the veranda and having all the beach supplies to use was especially helpful. Perfect location within Puerto Rico with easy access to most of the popular things to do. With each night we learned more and more of what Luquillo had to offer. Hope to go back soon. Thanks again.

Wonderful Graduation vacation

It truly was perfect, right on the beach, a beautiful setting with updated decorations and wonderful decor.It was so nice to have our children re experience a place they have know from childhood. Wave surfing, collecting shark teeth and hanging out at the kioskos.I remember when I was 15 and hanging out on the beach, I can only hope the daily will come back again and agin to experience the fun we had at your place. So close to everything, we went on a boat experience, El Yunque, and so many other things.I am sure everyone will enjoy your wonderful spot as much as we have

Great location and view

We had a wonderful stay with our family of five at this condo. Great to have the constant view of the ocean and beach access across the street. Having beach chairs and towels supplied is also handy. Grocery store is 5 min drive. Also close drive to rain forest and bioluminescent bay kayak tour in Luquillo. Panderri Bakery is excellent and walkable. Most other restaurants are a 5 min drive.

What a lovely spot! If you’re looking for a local feel, this is exactly what you want. Wonderful restaurants within a short walk. Barely used beach literally across a one lane, quiet, barely driven road. Gorgeous beach and extremely responsive host. Highly recommend!

Loved to sit on balcony and enjoy ocean view. Inside was clean and nice enough but the real draw is the ocean across the street. It had chairs, hammock, cooler, towels, masks to use at the beach. Walkable to restaurants and near El Yunque, Bioluminescences and snorking.

A nice place on the ocean

The professionalism of the owner and the management contact were fantastic. Everything went as planned. The beds were comfortable, the place was clean, kitchen was stocked, bathrooms were nice. We ended up loving our stay. Only complaints are really probably us getting used to the area- its a little run down in the neighborhood, lots of gates, lots of gates entering into the place which we are not used to living in the US. We adjusted as the week went on and enjoyed our stay very much. We would recommend the place but we can't just give it 5 stars without a comment that little things like the area and the kitchen cabinets keep it from being all 5 star.

Amazing property!

This was our first time in Puerto Rico and it was amazing mainly because of this property! It has a beautiful view and accommodated 6 couples extremely comfortably. It's within walking distance to awesome restaurants and beaches and the Luquillo kiosks are a quick ride away or a beautiful walk along the beach away. I will definitely recommend to my friends and family and we will be back again!

Puerto Rico Paradise

Villa Palmar is a slice of heaven. The unit is on the second floor and is very secure with gated parking. I thought the neighborhood was charming so I’m not sure if all the security is even necessary. The unit’s main centerpiece is the breathtaking view over Playa Azul. Every morning we would turn off the air conditioning and open the patio door to be greeted with the soothing sounds of the ocean and the cool ocean breeze. Breakfast On the patio was a lovely way to start the day. All beaches were within walking distance so depending on what type of water activity, you could select your beach. We visited them all. We were also able to walk to dinner, and the small market. The grocery store Amigo is also within walking distance and there is a crosswalk to cross the busy road separating Amigo from the beach area. We loved our stay more than we ever imagined we would. The location and view are priceless.

Great Week!

We loved our stay on the beach, having the oceans steps away was amazing. Very quiet neighborhood but just minutes from the kiosk's and the cute little center of Luquillo. This condo is so nicely located near the rainforest, not far from Old San Juan and the bioluminescent kayaking. The condo was well equipped with everything we needed including beach chairs and towels and having our own washer/dryer was great. We really loved our stay and recommend this location.

Our family had a wonderful holiday. Until we were pushed out at 10 am by surprise on the last day. We had planned to check out by 10:45 and the host sent a text at 7 am saying she needed us to leave to get ready for the next guest. It really put a damper on a wonderful week

Peaceful and wonderful

Prior to staying at this property, I had stayed at the Wyndham Rio Del Mar, where I had paid over $11,000 to stay with my man and my daughter, and it was a good experience but this far surpasses it simply because the kitchen is there the view of the beach was beautiful the same grocery store that we shopped in when we stayed at the Wyndham Rio Delmar is the same one that accessible from this property it was just wonderful. I really love the little oasis that we found on the beach. A little inlet that was just perfect. We stayed in the water for hours because of it. It’s a lovely place. It felt very secure and clean and I really enjoyed it. I think you and your family as well. We stayed out on the patio. We stayed in the bed or doing anything else it’s just a little slice of heaven.

Breathe taken view

I went with my family of 8 , we didn’t mind sharing rooms with each other, it’s been a long time that we share rooms. At first it seemed small, but it works. At night we felt safe because they have a lock fence to parking area, to your door, and also outside the porch as a storm projector, that is pretty cool. You are close to plenty of stores, (Amigos) is the supermarket , pharmacy, McDonald’s, and Spanish restaurants. Plus you the that absolutely beautiful beach right at your doorstep. They have plenty of coolers, chairs, and anything you want to take to the beach. feel free to tribute to the donation box they have in the closet. We left a few things and Beachball😁 overall me and my family had a great time. 🇵🇷 is in my blood. I will continue to return to Puerto Rico

Luquillo beachfront gem!

We stayed at this lovely property in June 2024. The condo itself is a bit dated (bathrooms have been nicely updated - kitchen has not, so this might be an issue for you if you are a gourmet chef). However, it has everything you need, is well stocked and very clean. If you need consistent wifi for anything, you may want to bring your own hot spot. Management is amazing and very responsive. The real magic of this condo is location, location, location. You are literally feet from a very private, very beautiful beach! Being in Luquillo, you are also within close proximity to the El Younque rainforest and the bioluminescent bays of Fajardo. Fajardo is also a jumping off point for day trips to Culebra. If you want to feel like more of a "local" vs staying in a resort, this place is for you. Overall, 5-stars from our family!
