Great resort with a lot of amenities and for a reasonable price. The location on the island is far enough away from everything to feel secluded but close enough to get into town for shopping or nightlife if desired. I’d go back for sure.

The resort was great but the Nector, and 787prime restaurant was closed whilewe werethere. Also we wanted to take the paddle boards or kayaks out and no we couldn't do that either but thankfully we new the area pretty well and wasn't are first time on the island but i still give it 4 stars

This place was a dream. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Our room was impeccable, and the property itself was large and clean. They have a store that is open 24/7, multiple pools, easy walk to the beach, many different activities scheduled daily, and my fav feature was that they allow you to stay on the property after checkout and use their showers before heading out. We cannot wait to come back to PR and stay at this resort.

This place is very nice on the surface, but a lot of the maintenance work that's been done over the years was shoddy. There are paint drips all over the units, there were some TLC issues with the patio doors not opening very well. The toilet seat wasn't cleaned when we checked in to the unit. There was a lot of litter scattered around the beach area and pool areas. Part of that is just a lack of class and manners on the part of some of the guests. The walkways to the units say "no motorized vehicles", but the groundskeeping staff drives all over those walkways with their golf carts all day long. Most of the staff on the property are very friendly and helpful but there are a few exceptions occasionally. Many of the staff did not know the change in operating hours of the restaurants during the low season, which starts around the end of August. My wife and I were repeatedly told incorrect information regarding which restaurants were open when and which ones required reservations or which did not. But overall the restaurant food was very good. The beach is decent but there's a lot of sharp rocks and shell pieces, occasionally bits of glass, so I wouldn't advise walking barefoot around there unless you have leather feet. Overall this is a gorgeous place to stay at despite the few shortcomings.

I went here to celebrate my bday with my BF and best friend. We had an amazing time. The property has a lot to offer. Many restaurants and even food trucks and vendors near the pool during the day. The staff is very helpful and kind. Rio Grande is a beautiful location. We explored the rainforest, went on a boat excursion to palominos island and did the bioluminescence tour (which I do not recommend if you do not wear long sleeves and are fully covered otherwise we’ll be eating alive by mosquitoes). I will definitely return to this property. The next time I visit Puerto Rico.
