Have eaten here twice so far, service and food spot on. The 12.50euro menu is such good value. Great choice on the main menu and good prices. Enough room for large parties of comfortable if only two dining.
Ref; Melia Coco beach.. Received letter that Melia sold the property at Coco Beach as well it has transferred the TimeShare known as Club Melia,(previously Sol Melia Vacation Club) to Coco Beach Resort , Golf Club, & Residences, thus losing all of the benefits and perks with Club Melia since 2007. This was sold and leaving the membership out in the cold! Unacceptable!
Non existent housekeeping!!! No pad between the bed and the sheet so if a child has “an accident” the mattress becomes wet—-and then???? For two nights my children used towels as blankets because, after multiple requests for blankets, none were delivered until 3.40am the following day and the removed and not replaced by housekeeping! There is litter on the grounds left for days. The employees don’t care. I would not return to Puerto Rico because of the dreadful experience. This might be the worst travel experience I have ever had!!!
Melia Coco Beach Rio Grande Melia Resort ruined my vacation 639023521 Melia Coco Beach Rio Grande Ruined my Vacation 638826962 I made a reservation back in February. They were recovering from the hurricane but said they would be open by December. I spoke directly to reservation staff at the resort. I called last month just to make sure everything was ok. They assured me that "all is well" Yesterday I received a call from Camille and was told that they will not be open until April of next year. It's impossible that they didn't know sooner that they were that much behind. We now have no place to stay and with 16 days before arrival the nearby resort they recommended wants 300% more for the same dates. And company with a conscious would have helped by absorbing the difference.
Great hotel. Had a room on the lagoon stunning .Food excellent Staff amazing .Plenty of activities. The hotel was clean and well maintained. We were there at the end of the season staff were busy preparing too.s for the start of the new season
Our stay was great. We rented 2 condos from another website and the price was very good for the 2 condos. They offer a food and drink package, which is really good. The Pool was enormous and a swim-up bar. Food is superb. Disapointed that there is no Beach. You can travel to nice beaches for cheap money or if you rent a car, just get a map:)
A very good resort to relax with family. I would recomend the Red level club rooms. Employees are very nice and helpful. Restaurants are fine but expensive for our budget. Beach area small but can get wet.
We had an amazing time in Puerto Rico. The resort is very safe and secluded area of Rio Grande. Restaurant was great, but very Americano. We wanted more of the island flavors and authentic food. Customer service was okay, not the best. The walking distance to our room was rough and we weren’t allowed any guest. Our local family was not allowed to visit without paying for them to enter. It was a hassle! Will not recommend this hotel for Military Families traveling to meet up in PR. We as Miltary families need something more convenient and conducive for our family. Thank you
I tried to contact the hotel several times about the bed bugs and we never heard from them! The restaurants were good however the pools were quiet. However I would not recommend because the hotel did not handle the situation correctly. Me and my mother were not sure why so many bites as we used repellant every day so we asked a doctor when we got back and he suggested they looked like bed bug bites. Never heard from Melia.
I went with my family and had a great time! We had a lot of small trips planned so we didn’t stay in the resort. However the place is beautiful! Pools and rooms are very clean. The breakfast is amazingly delicious and the staff was very friendly. We did not use the beach, we opted for the pools instead.
