Stayed here 2 was hot..staff was rude (both at front desk and restaurant) not what is expected of radisson....only positive...good breakfast and despite horrible restaurant service food was good

We had a noisy room the first night, but the desk (Hellen)worked hard to find us a quiet room. The staff were all lovely. Breakfast was fantastic. It was my birthday and two of the servers( Mayra and Alexandra) sang Happy Birthday to me in Spanish and gave me a dessert with a candle for me to blow out. My only disappointment was that it was a long way from museums and shops. My fault for not checking closer. The atmosphere was like an oasis in a busy city. Lots of trees and flowers.

We chose the hotel by accident. When we arrived in San Jose and sat about 1/2 hour waiting for the traffic jam to clear, we thought "oh no; what a mistake!" But the hotel turned out to be just fine. The restaurant was OK, the room was well furnished, the fitness room was outstanding and everyone was friendly. On the flip side, the hallways were dark, the view from our room was nothing to write home about, and the pool was tiny. To get downtown you had to have a car or take a taxi. Recommendation is that the hotel establish a shuttle.

We had a great time once our Hotel Room got change from the first night we arrived. The view was great

Check in at 2:00 pm. I didn't get a room key till 4:00 pm. You have to make sure you walk around your room with your flip flops as the carpet floor is sticky. $80 ($120) per night should be $30. nice facilities but not what I was expecting from a radisson. There are better and cheaper hotels in town.

They have a grey line booth in the lobby to help set up tours! Avoid having desk arrange taxis - if you walk past the hotel entrance you can get a taxi for less than half the cost of what the front desk arranges price is! Taxis are super easy to get anywhere!! Worth the breakfast to stay!!

This is our 3 rd time we stayed there. Best breakfast around, clean friendly staff. There is a lot of places you can walk to. Hard to find if you are driving, best to take there shuttle or a taxie.

The hotel is in a reasonable condition. The restorant is one of the best option for lunch in the area.

Very centric to the city of San Jose accessible to the highway to access the rain forest and or beaches

Love to stay at this location everytime I came to San Jose. Friendly staff. Antonio at Front Desk was outstanding, friendly. Made sure that my stay was comfortable enough after a busy day of work.

A beautiful hotel and it is such a pleasure to see something done right. It really shows great character of all the staff involved, who refuse to be blasé or ordinary, or take their world for granted. Everything was done just right, and it all came together. I hope to visit again soon.

Spent one comfortable night after midnight airplane arrival. Decent breakfast (nothing special). Left immediately after.

It was a wonderful stay. I've lived in San Jose but returned back to the US. This is my first trip back in 10 months and staying at the Radisson was very nice. I enjoyed it very much. I recommend this hotel for business persons, vacationers and families.

I really enjoyed this hotel. The beds are EXTREMELY comfortable, the rooms are large and clean, and the staff is attentive and knowledgeable. The pool is nice and large and there is a real gym a Golds Gym on the property. The hotel is located near downtown, like a $5 cab ride. Only problem with location is it is located in an area that makes it difficult to hale a cab from the street and using the cabs at the hotel are a lot more expensive. Definitely recommend for singles and families

Overall our stay was good once we arrived at the Radisson in San Jose. Unfortunately this very nice hotel is an oasis located in a rundown commercial neighborhood lined with auto parts and tire stores. The streets are extremely crowded, noisy and busy with commercial traffic. The sidewalks are a challenge to walk as they are uneven with lots of gaps or holes. It was quite scary trying to cross the streets at times as we dodged cars, trucks and motor bikes. One of the reasons I chose this hotel was because it listed Airport shuttle under amenities. However, there was no airport shuttle. So as a result we had to pay $60 RT for a taxi. In fact no hotels in the center of San Jose or near the airport provide free shuttles. You have to take taxis. I wish I had known that previously. On the positive side the hotel and restaurant staff were wonderful, the room was comfortable and clean and the free breakfast buffet was very good. We did not check out the casino. My last critique is that I was told at check in that we had bottled water for our use. But when I checked out, I was billed $10 for water we drank. Apparently, you only get free water for one night only. We had stayed 3 nights. I would stay at another Radisson, especially for the price we paid, however, I would definitely investigate the neighborhood beforehand.

Nice hotel ver helpful staff. Stayed for five days. Reliable internet if you need to do work. Decent buffet breakfast. The restaurant at the hotel has a well priced menu. Close to the bus station and the children's museum.

This was my second time to stay at this hotel and again I was disappointed and regretted to stay there. I stayed at one of master suites and refrigerator was located in a bedroom. Of course I was annoyed with the noise all night long. I made several local calls to make restaurant reservations and guess what at the checkout all local calls were charged. Most hotels offer local calls free of charge. It was not much amounts. But where are courtesy services? Nonetheless at my first stay two months ago even when I got there after 4:00pm still my room was not ready. And this time I was told my room was checked in already by me according to their computer system who arrived at San Jose just an hour ago. With the amount I paid for, the value of money was the way below... Won't stay here again.

The hotel is very nice and the breakfast service is awesome they have many things. The location is horrible only because San jose traffic is third world and hard to get to from route 1. If you plan on traveling by bus it's not bad as it's the closest location probably less than a 1000 feet away. Personally I would stay by airport if you rent vehicle so that you can avoid the ridiculous traffic and roads. The hotel pool is very cold but nice size. Good luck travelers each taxi service from hotel to airport is 30 dollars which isn't too bad.

Seems a bit dated, staff sometimes clueless. The pool was mostly close while I was there. Really conveniently located a short walk from the city
