The host is amazing and very easy to talk with. She made sure everything was perfect. You should know this place is on top floor so there are 2-3 flights of stairs. It is worth it. Food and shopping near by. She is available anytime for questions. We stayed 3 nights and we would return! Thank you so much for such a great stay!!

Excellent host in a beautiful town

We really enjoyed our stay here.Tge host Simona is excellent.Very friendly welcome and lots of good advice about buses etc.The property is very well situated for the town amenities.We had an apartment with its own kitchen,fridge etc for drinks and breakfast food which was very useful.

Hidden gem

Wonderful inexpensive place to stay within the walls of San Gimignano. Be aware of two flights of stairs to reach the hotel.Simona, the innkeeper, was wonderful and available if needed. The rooms were comfortable and quiet. Perfect location for access to parking lot and central San Gimignano!

Very clean and attractive place. Simona is a great host. There is a walk from the city paid parking but it is a small price to pay to sty within the city walls.

Even a 10/10 isn't enough to describe the location, the cleanliness, the beautiful spaceous room overlooking the church, and mostly the positive energy and amazing welcoming and help of Simona! From start to finish, she showed us main attraction, she had coffee pods ready for our mornings, she answered WhatsApps right away. Honestly as gorgeous as San Gimignano is, the experience was made even better at Palazzo Mari! MUCH recommended 😍

Simone was a gracious hostess. Met ut the property upon contacting her. She gave us a tour of the facility and warmly welcomed us. The location of this property was very desirable as it’s proximity to shops/restaurants was superb. Parking was reasonably priced and close by. We would definitely return if possible. A definite 4 star accommodation with a 5 star location. Ciao !!

Qasis in a very village

The Palazzo Mari was an Oasis away from the hustle and bustle of San Gimignano, tow minutes walk from the centre and yet very quiet. Simona was always available if you required any assistance. I would recommend the Palazzo Mari to anybody. Only negatives if your not to fit, is the walk from the car park and the stairs to accomodation
