Our three-story Edwardian/Belle Époque building was built 115 years ago, two years after the great San Francisco earthquake. Over the years, we have carefully preserved its many architectural charms, including this lower, garden-level sanctuary—a feature unique to many heritage homes built on slopes in hilly San Francisco (See diagram for gradient)

Echoing the cultural spirit of California, Mexico, China, Japan, and India, and 19th-century Victorian affluence, we've layered the space richly with textures and finishes reminiscent of San Francisco's boomtown heydays, both past and present.

A warm leather sectional anchors the living area, set against original exposed wood and concrete surfaces that hint at the city's rugged past. Period oil portraits of the original owners, antiques, and sculptures lend the space the feel of a curated museum suite. Relax in this plush space with a massive smart TV, fine art, and warm lighting.

The adjacent area showcases a striking glass-top dining table by Paul Evans, B&B Italia chairs, and a commanding black armoire—a nod to contemporary SF style and Victorian opulence. Next to that is a low-profile, king-sized bed with a massive, hand-carved headboard that accommodates two. Each design element is hand-selected to honor San Francisco's golden legacy.

We can set up an additional plush aerobed in the living room to accommodate two more adults, and a child can sleep comfortably on the sofa.

Our large European-style wet bathroom is a private wellness spa. Step into floor-to-ceiling marble-finish tiles, underfloor heating, a shower equipped with a luxury multi-jet water system, a rain shower, and sleek matte black fixtures—designed to refresh and restore after a day exploring the city's iconic hills.
