Welcome to Patrick's Pacific Paradise, on the 5th floor of Capri by the Sea, this corner unit features stunning ocean views from every room! A luxury, modernist dream, this newly renovated condo invites comfort and relaxation.
The kitchen is bright and open to the living space with new cabinets and quartzite countertops with a "waterfall" effect spilling the quartz over the side of the counter. Perfect to post up at the breakfast bar on the 4 stools provided or sit down with friends and family at the drop-leaf dining table with 4 chairs and a bench. The fully equipped kitchen has all new LG stainless steel appliances, including an electric stove, great for meals at home.
Adjacent to the kitchen is a storage closet where you may find additional supplies. The exterior storage accessed by a separate building key and then storage unit for 512 by combo lock will contain all beach accessories.
Settle in to enjoy the view or sounds of the sea in the new, luxury leather couches of the living room. The smart, LG 70 inch TV has something for everyone! Or get cozy in the large, leather arm chairs of the sunroom outside the master bedroom with a cup of coffee to watch the surfers and sunrise!
Large ceiling fans in each room and great ocean breezes will keep you cool. The brand new beds have high quality mattresses, a California king, 2 queens, and 1 queen size sleeper sofa in the living room where you can lay to read a book and enjoy the view.
The master bedroom can be closed off to the sunroom with large, glass sliding doors and blinds. The California king bed centers the room with views of the waves or smart, 55 inch LG TV. Ample storage is available for guests with a full dresser and 2 closets. The master walk-in closet offers several shelves and hangers, and the additional closet contains cleaning supplies. The beautiful, bright master bathroom has a walk-in shower, white cabinets and quartzite vanity. The shower features a rainfall shower head and separate hand-held nozzle for convenience.
The guest bedroom has 2 queen size beds and a large mirrored closet with hangers, and dresser with storage. Catch a Netflix movie before bed on the large, smart 55 inch TV. All windows of the condo have blinds to keep the rooms cool or dim for a good night sleep. Like the master, the guest bathroom has new cabinets with quartzite countertop. In this bathroom, the shower has a rainfall shower head, separate hand-held nozzle and is a combination with a tub.

Located on the fifth floor, the views from South Mission Beach to the La Jolla peninsula are simply breathtaking. The views have been highlighted in this unit with floor to ceiling windows that encompass every inch of the viewable space you could have from this amazing condo.
Capri by the Sea offers every amenity you could want and need for your stay in San Diego. A single parking space is included with your reservation. The rooftop offers 360 views of Pacific Beach, with BBQ grills and picnic tables and lounge seating. A heated (80 degrees) pool and hot tub are located on the ground floor behind the Capri building and are accessible with your key fob. A washer and dryer (coin-operated) are located at the South end of the hallway just outside the condo. A trash and recycling chute is located on the North end. Your key fob gives access to that condo's floor, lobby, rooftop, garage and pool area. Check-in instructions sent via email will provide more details about how to obtain your keys/lock code and fobs.
NEED MORE ROOM? If you would like to travel with extended family or other families, we have three 1-bedrooms and three 2- bedrooms in this building; three in a row on the 9th floor, 909, 910 and 911 plus 1005, 1007 (1bd) and 1010 right above them.

We like our guests to feel at home as soon as they arrive! We provide a 'starter kit' to help our guests get settled without needing to rush off to the store.
Our kits include: paper towels, toilet paper, shampoo/conditioner, soaps, kitchen sponge, dish soap, laundry detergent, dishwasher soap, and trash bags. In addition a Keurig coffee makers with k-cups and a standard coffee maker, linens and towels, extra blankets, extra pillows, extra sheets for sleeper sofas, hair dryer, iron and ironing board. Kitchens fully stocked-enough for max occupancy with extra settings, toaster, blender, first aid kit, fire extinguisher, smoke/carbon monoxide detectors.
While on vacation, we want our guests to enjoy their vacation to the fullest and we feel in order for our guests to do this, they should also feel informed. Attention Guests: In addition to completing our electronic rental agreement, you will also be required to participate in our identity verification process. The service is offered through Autohost; an intelligent guest screening software that automates ID verifications, background and credit checks, security deposits and more, helping to improve guest experience and safety. Please note: for the credit card verification, a $2 hold will be placed on the card to run the report. This hold will never process and will fall off automatically within 7 days.
Holiday 2024 Policy: 6 night minimum AND Saturday check-in is REQUIRED during our holiday season (December 21-January 4). One reservation CANNOT take both holidays, unless it is a 2-week reservation. There are no arrivals OR departures on Christmas or New Year's Day. *An arrival on a Friday or Sunday may be possible, please inquire if your group needs accommodations that are different as we may be able to accommodate you!
Summer 2024 Policy: Beginning Memorial Day to Labor Day, Saturday to Saturday is required with 6-7 night reservations. On July 4th 2024, check-in or check-out is NOT permitted. An arrival on a Friday or Sunday may be possible, please inquire if your group needs accommodations that are different as we may be able to accommodate you.
Last Minute Booking Policy: If a guest books with us directly or on any OTA such as Airbnb and VRBO, within 72 hours of arrival, verification credentials are required. By making a payment on the reservation, the guest agrees to comply with our last minute booking policy.
To properly vet a guest with such short notice requires the following; a “selfie” photo specifically of the booking guest's face and holding either a Driver's License, Passport or State ID photo under their chin. We are just looking for a name to match and the photo on the ID to match that of the person in the selfie. This can be sent by email or text to our company email address. Additionally, we need to confirm guest details such as, payment, contact information, applicable check-in time, number of guests and ages, any pets, etc.
This process is required, and if a guest refuses to comply then the reservation will be canceled. We have found this procedure to be successful in avoiding fraud, and protecting all parties! We appreciate your cooperation and we are available to help with any questions.
Nightly Minimum Policy: 4 night minimum required in the off season except for last minute bookings and shorter vacancy periods. 6 night AND a Saturday Check-in is REQUIRED during peak season (June - August). Peaceful Oceanfront Paradise
Our stay at Patrick’s Pacific Paradise was truly unforgettable! The property is beautifully maintained, exactly as pictured, and perfectly equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. What really took our breath away were the spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean from the fourth-floor floor-to-ceiling glass doors—absolutely stunning!Falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the waves was so peaceful and soothing, we didn’t even feel the need to turn on the TV. It was the perfect place to unplug and unwind.The property is managed by Nancy’s Vacation Rentals, and their team was fantastic—great communication, always quick to respond to any questions, and they even provided some excellent local recommendations that made our stay even better.Between the incredible location, the peaceful ocean ambiance, and the top-notch service, this place exceeded our expectations. We’d absolutely stay again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a true coastal escape!

Great beachfront property
We had a great time in San Diego and loved our stay at this property. The other couple we were with usually stay in downtown SD but even they enjoyed this location. The condo is exactly as described in the listing. It was clean and well stocked. The only down side is the need for key fobs to get in the parking garage and to use the elevators. You would think that once you’re in the garage (using the fob to open the locked gate) that should be enough to gain entrance to the building. A small inconvenience for sure.

Pacific Beach and Patrick's Condo were the BEST
We stayed in Patrick's Capri by the Sea condo from 9/15/20 2024. Gorgeous view through floor to ceiling windows, with three that would slide open to allow in the sea breeze. Beautifully decorated and supplied. EVERYTHING was new, from the kitchen dishes/flatware/gadgets to the linens and furniture. The beds were heavenly - not to soft or hard.
We didn't have a car but could easily walk to restaurants and shops. The closest grocery store was within a half mile but carrying large loads was a bit of an issue. Future guests may want to inquire about the upcoming plumbing project that started on our last day. We received a message that our water would be cut off from 9-5 the last day. Fortunately for us, it was never actually cut off. However, it is a building-wide project that looks like it will have an impact on residents and visitors for months. They seem to have a schedule that shows the dates each unit will be impacted.
We had some issues with luggage storage prior to check-in, but we were eventually able to get help.

Amazing views, location and management
We absolutely loved our time here with our kids. The location is great with lots of restaurants within walking distance. It is 15-20 minutes from everything in San Diego and it was nice to be a bit away from mission beach craziness. The pool is just across the alley down the street a bit but it wasn’t a problem with our three kids under 12 and it was a nice alternative to the beach. The beach was great. Can be a bit crowded but still found spots late in the day. Also appreciated the beach accessories provided (boogie boards, chairs, sand toys). The view is amazing and all my wife and I wanted to do was sit in the chairs overlooking the beach ocean. We slept with the ocean waves each night! The condo was clean, beds were comfortable and well equipped. We liked the underground parking and building security too. The communication with Nancy’s Vacation Rentals was top notch. They provide a nice orientation guide with all the info and were always very quick to respond to questions we had via email and text. Can’t recommend this place enough for families (young kids especially) and couples looking for a relaxing vacation.

Beautiful views and convenient location
We (my wife and I, plus another couple) really enjoyed our stay. The communication with the property manger's was seamless and provided us with dining recommendations when requested. Getting to the property from the airport only took about 20 minutes. Check in was very easy and allowed us to immediately start enjoying the condo, it's amenities and the beach. The rooftop area was a nice way to look over the city at night, while watching the constant flow of airplanes flying out of the airport.
There are a lot of dining and drinking options nearby and we always felt safe walking in the neighborhood at night. It seemed like whenever we wanted to go somewhere that wasn't within walking distance (Zoo, LaJolla Cove, Old Towne Trolley Tour, etc) it was just a 15-20 minute drive. So convenient!
Only thing we didn't realize was that the pool was not on-site. However it is just one lot away, so it wasn't anything that would make us downgrade our rating.
You can't beat the views looking down towards the pier or north to LaJolla, since it is the tallest building on the beach. We would definitely stay again!

This property is exactly as the pictures show. The beds are comfortable, living room furniture is comfortable, everything was great! The location of this property is superb, we walked to breakfast, lunch and dinner! Sunset on the beach every night! The communication with the staff was answered very quickly and professionally. The hot tub in the pool were clean and perfectly tempered. I will definitely stay here again!

Unbeatable Views/Great Location
The location for this rental simply can't be beat...the view is absolutely amazing and the buidling sits on the boardwalk. Many eateries and shops are well within walking distance.
The only real negatives are few but worth mentioning for fellow travellers. The pull-out bed in the living room sofa is extremely uncomfortable, so much so that the person in our group who pulled that straw just slept on it as a couch. Some folks might also appreciate knowing that it is a challenge to get complete privacy in the master bedroom as there is a gap bewteen the shades. This is nobody's fault, but it is certainly something to consider, especially since the room opens to the main living space. Lastly, be mindful that while the condo is fully stocked, it is just stocked. There is not a lot of extra of anything such as pillows, blankets, and kitchenware. All is nice and in good order, but there really is just enough. This is not a complaint, rather an observation for those who truly do have 8 people in their group.
All in all, we would definitely stay at this location again. The heated pool was an added benefit to an already lovely spot and a beautiful condo.

Great PB Condo
This condo very closely matched the listing- it was clean, well stocked, comfortably furnished, and well kept. Our family enjoyed being able to walk straight out to the beach, go to the pool, or walk to breakfast. While its not in the busy part of PB, its close enough to be convenient. Would absolutely stay here again!

What a beautiful home.
This was one of the best places we have rented in Mission/Pacific Beach. The view was outdistancing and if you like light l day, and we do, then this is the place for you with the floor to ceiling windows.
