Below you will find details about our 1 bed/ 1 bath home, Leah's Oceanfront Condo located in the Ocean Point Vacation Rentals complex on the boardwalk in Pacific Beach.
Ocean Point Vacation Rentals is located on the Pacific Beach boardwalk across from the Crystal Pier. On the ground level is the community pool and hot tub. There is also a lounging area, gas BBQ and each condo has an individual parking space in the underground parking garage. Surfers provide sunup to sundown entertainment from every room in the condo. Do not forget your camera to capture the picture-perfect sunsets!
Leah's beautiful 2nd floor condo comes with stunning views of the boardwalk and Pacific Ocean. The fully equipped kitchen with marble countertops has everything you need for cooking and eating at home, plus the ocean view! There are hardwood and tile floors in the living room, kitchen, bath and entry. The master bedroom features a queen size bed and flat screen TV. A queen sofa bed with a memory foam mattress adds extra sleeping room with a view.
We can provide an air conditioning unit for an additional fee. Please contact us to reserve the inventory.
We provide 2 adult bicycles for exploring the miles and miles of ocean and bay boardwalks. Also included are beach chairs, towels, a beach umbrella, and boogie boards found in the garage storage cabinet. There is a large coin operated laundry room where you can do all your laundry at once and save time. The condo building, including garage, is secure and requires a key or remote garage door opener for entry.
The convenient location is 2 miles from SeaWorld, 3 miles from Old Town, and just 7-9 miles from the Gaslamp District, Little Italy, and the world famous San Diego Zoo in lovely Balboa Park. Come enjoy all San Diego has to offer along with the best weather in the nation!
Vacation rentals in San Diego are for the most part, second homes for the owners. Therefore, some furniture or decor may differ from what is pictured because the owners needed or wanted to replace something. Professional photos are expensive and we can not re-photograph the rental every time something is changed but we do maintain the listing content with any notable furnishing changes especially related to sleeping arrangements. We like our guests to feel at home as soon as they arrive! We provide a 'starter kit' to help our guests get settled without needing to rush off to the store. We can provide a portable a/c for an additional fee, contingent on availability. Please contact us to reserve one in our limited inventory as soon as possible. Deliveries are scheduled 24 hours in advance.
Our kits include: paper towels, toilet paper, shampoo/conditioner, soap, linens, towels, kitchen sponges, dish soap, laundry detergent and fabric softener, dishwasher soap when applicable, trash bags, either Keurig coffee makers with k-cups or standard coffee makers, extra blankets, sometimes extra pillows, extra sheets-for sleeper sofas, hair dryers, ironing boards, kitchens fully stocked-enough for max occupancy with some extra settings, toasters, some waffle makers, blenders, tool kits, first aid kits, fire extinguishers, co2/fire detectors, and most homes have heat available.

Summer 2024 Policy: Beginning Memorial Day to Labor Day, Saturday to Saturday is required with 6-7 night reservations. On July 4th 2024, check-in or check-out is NOT permitted. Last Minute Booking Policy: If a guest books with us directly or on any OTA such as Airbnb and VRBO, within 72 hours of arrival, verification credentials are required. By making a payment on the reservation, the guest agrees to comply with our last minute booking policy.
To properly vet a guest with such short notice requires the following; a “selfie” photo specifically of the booking guest's face and holding either a Driver's License, Passport or State ID photo under their chin. We are just looking for a name to match and the photo on the ID to match that of the person in the selfie. This can be sent by email or text to our company email address. Additionally, we need to confirm guest details such as, payment, contact information, applicable check-in time, number of guests and ages, any pets, etc.
This process is required, and if a guest refuses to comply then the reservation will be canceled. We have found this procedure to be successful in avoiding fraud, and protecting all parties! We appreciate your cooperation and we are available to help with any questions.
Nightly Minimum Policy: 6 night minimum required in the off season. 6 nights AND a Saturday Check-in is REQUIRED during peak season (June - August). Awesome ocean view
We enjoyed the place, being right on the boardwalk and so close to restaurants and bars. It was spacious and kitchen was well stocked. A few negatives: Does not have air conditioning. Apparently you can rent one ahead of time. The bedroom got quite warm at night even though the high temperature outside never exceeded 72, so we had to open the door which has a lockable screen door as well as windows to create a strong cross breeze. The bed was super creaky and not super comfortable. The pool and hot tub are super small and dated. We didn’t use either. Great beach toys including 2 cruiser bikes, 3 umbrellas, 1 chair with broken strap, 2 boogie boards. Couldn’t get the TV in the bedroom to turn on. But all in all, we loved our time at Pacific Beach and would return!

I was so excited to stay at this property. The location was perfect and the view was beautiful. We couldn’t get in at first and they had to reset the door code upon arrival. They corrected that so it wasn’t that bad but when I walked in the bedroom I was shocked to find the bed had been messed from top to bottom. I had been so excited for this stay and the bed is important. It took my excitement level way down. I called to tell them about the problem and they just said the cleaning crew leaned on it to check under the bed but it was still clean. First, the crew will never admit to messing up. Second, it was completely messed with body shape marks, not just a dent so when I pulled back the comforter, there were more large deep creases in the sheets…body imprints. This bed was definitely used, even if only on the top. Just bc the comforter managed to stay on top of the bed, does not make it a clean bed. They never resolved this issue for me and I was really upset. Every night I was reminded I was in a dirty bed, and we stayed a whole week. All they had to do was send the crew to change the bedding and I would have been satisfied. For them to chose to not fix something so important for me, was not the way to go. I considered going out and buying my own sheets, but this was my vacation. What a pain. I expect a clean bed even from a random hotel so I definitely expected one here. Outside of this, our stay was fine. Yet they left me so disappointed so we will never be using this company again.

If you want a view and to be where the action is, this is it. It is not a quiet romantic spot. We have a Chevy Tahoe and it would not fit in the garage. Despite a few issues, I would definitely stay here again (if hot tub is working).

The GHOAT(Greatest Homestay of All Time)
Beginning with location, you simply cannot expect to stay in a better spot in PB, especially at this rate. From the moment we stepped into Nancy's waterfront condo, until check out a week later, our expectations were consistently blown out of the water. We woke up to a cool ocean breeze every morning(the windows DO open) and were on the beach in a manner of seconds. The living room is massively larger than the pictures make it appear(one of our concerns before booking) and there are three huge couches for lounging while bathing in the radiant glow of a SoCal sunset. Despite being in a prime location in PB, we never dealt with noise issues from latenight party-goers. You are one block away from Garnet Street which is where all the shops and restaurants are located, but still have the luxury of a completely stocked kitchen should you choose to have a night in.
The only negative experience we had during our stay was accepting the reality that we had to eventually leave.

Amazing week in PB
We booked this condo as a last minute escape and couldn't have had a better time. The location of the condo was perfect, close to lots of restaurants, across from the beach with easy access. The condo was maintained very well, nicely updated bathroom and kitchen and very cozy living room and bed. We definitely plan to return!

Location and view can’t be beat!
The view and sound of the ocean is dreamy. Prime/popular location so it can be a little loud at times but nothing excessive. Condo is a great size and furnished well. Everything you need for the beach is there. No issues with other people in the complex. There is a small pool, which we didn’t use, but others seemed to enjoy it each day and there is a hot tub that was closed at the time. This was our first time to Pacific Beach and we can’t wait to come back!!

Great location just north of main avenue where many restaurants and shops a within walking distance. We were able to walk and bike along the boardwalk everyday and each night, the sunsets were awesome. Condo unit was clean and well furnished. No balcony, but I knew that where we rented it, as chose this unit as it was reasonable priced. underground parking provided easy access in and out of complex. Only issue was a very small hot tub, it was behind the complex and looked bigger in pictures. I would definitely stay here again.

Good location but poor property condition
Furniture is old with significant wear. Closet so full of ocean toys that there was little room for clothes. Shade in bedroom could not close due to some sort of makeshift venting. Ocean view was excellent, however windows on outside very dirty. Great location. Poor lighting ... in fact 3 bulbs were not functioning upon arrival. All were replaced, however low wattage bulbs are used throughout the unit and one lamp that could use a 3-way bulb has just a single wattage bulb. Ice cube maker does not work and I doubt that it is scheduled for repair.

Good condo, building needs improvement
Condo had not been cleaned when we arrived. Cleaning crew came at 7:30 pm. The next night the power was turned off in a planned outage from 11pm-6am. Not anyone’s fault but annoying. Swimming pool and poor excuse for a hot tub closed entire stay. Condo itself is nice and right on boardwalk with great view and location. Building needs TLC. In particular, the key to the front door works poorly.

This condo was in the perfect location for our family vacation with 2 adults and 2 kids. It was on the beach, close to all the tourist attractions and within walking distance to many restaurants. The condo had everything we needed: lots of towels, fully equipped kitchen, dedicated parking, beautiful views of the ocean, and a heated pool and spa! Nancy, her staff, and the owners were great to work with, and we would recommend this condo to anyone looking for a great vacation!

This place is exactly as advertised. Beautiful views, comfortable living space and wonderful location. This place is fully stocked with everything you will need and more. The location is unbelievable. Great, local cuisine. Since we were touring the cities attractions we were exausted at the end of the day the hot tub was great to have so we could unwind. Also, it's like the neighborhood goes to sleep early so they can start surfing with the sunrise at 5 am. It's so quiet in the condo that we slept like babies. Nothing beats sitting on the couch with my morning coffee watching the surfers. It was everything we could have asked for and more. We will for sure come back and stay at this exact condo. We loved it!

Great stay great price!
My family had a blast here in San Diego! Condos are really nice only thing is the garage door opener wouldn't work when coming in for the day in through the garage. Pool was great it was an overall a great experience we will be back!
