Tucked into the verdant hills of central Samos, this charming traditional village offers a quiet retreat just a 10 to 15 minute drive from some of the island’s most beloved sights and beaches. From here you’re within easy reach of Pythagorio Beach a lovely mix of sand and fine pebbles with calm waters, lined with seaside cafés and traditional tavernas, perfect for swimming and a relaxed lunch by the sea(6km) and Potokaki Beach, this long, organized pebbly beach features crystal-clear waters, sunbeds, and beach bars, making it ideal for both families and couples(6,5km). Then there is the historic Panagia Spiliani Monastery(8km), and the famous Tunnel of Eupalinos(8km).
Heading east, Psili Ammos Beach (around 12 km) offers soft golden sand and shallow turquoise waters, one of Samos’s most family-friendly spots, perfect for gentle swimming and sunbathing.
