Luxury villa Samos

Aeolos Villa is a luxury beachfront 200 m2 villa at the south-west part of Samos Island, the birthplace of the ancient mathematician Pythagoras. Under the rocks, where the ancient Amfilyssos River meets the sea, you may enjoy the unhindered Aegean sunset, relax to the sound of the waves and observe the wondrous starlit sky and unique full moon of Balos beach, a beautiful open bay, which is characterized by peacefulness and tranquility.
The river Amfilyssos next to us, with a quiet stream in the summer that becomes a beautiful river in the winter, and the more than a century old plane tree on the terrace of the villa, contribute a wonderful landscape where the guest may enjoy their breakfast or dinner under the unique night sky.
The villa mainly consists of 4 bedrooms, of which one is an ensuite with a private office and a small lounge area that can serve as additional sleeping area. The 2nd bedroom also contains a small loft bed which may accommodate young children and has access to a small wc with shower. The 3rd and 4th bedrooms may accommodate up to three guests with a shared bathroom. All sleeping areas are air-conditioned.
The residence has an open plan living room and a conservatory lounge at the bank of the Amfilissos River with clear views of the sea and rocky cliffs, hills and mountains surrounding Balos. The central heating of the building and the fireplace of the conservatory lounge make the villa ideal for winter vacationing as well.
As a self catering property, it is the ideal place for relaxation and privacy, a wonderful retreat for families, couples or groups of friends, offering peace of mind.

Samos Stay

The house was OK. Good location. Nice view. Needs many updates. The host was extremely rude and condescending. Made several references negatively about Americans. Talked about Greeks being "puppets to the allies" and the US wanting to sell guns to anyone. Really started off on a bad foot with this guy. We were on vacation and his attitude about Americans and the way he reacted to us was in extremely poor taste and had all of us very upset. I was very glad that we did not see him again during our stay!

Perfect family holiday

We chose Samos to celebrate my wife’s big birthday as it was the birthplace of her grandmother. The villa was perfect in meeting our needs as a family that included three grandchildren. Appolon greeted us on arrival and was so helpful in giving tips and assistance all through our 10 day stay. The villa itself is in a beautiful quiet spot on the edge of Balos beach. Strongly recommend booking dinner at Stella restaurant just next door, probably the best in the whole island The villa itself is well equipped, clean and in very comfortable. Has a lovely garden and patio with two seating areas In preparation for arrival, Appolon communicated regularly and gave us very accurate details of what to expect I would recommend this villa for a family or a group of friends very strongly. We are definitely going back Amr Zeineldine

Seaside Villa

We stayed as a family of 4 for 6 days In late October. The House is lovely as in the photos. It is right by the sea at the end of a cul de sac with splendid views over the sea. It was built by Apollon's parents, and recently restored . It was very clean, very comfortable, and a delightful place to relax. It was the end of the season so the village was very quiet and all local restaurants closed. A small characterful fishing village is 5 minutes drive away which had a good supermarket, cafe and bakery. There are a plethora of beaches to chose from, but a car is definitely needed. The sea was still nice and warm for swimming. Their are lots of restaurants open year round, and although we didn't take up the offer, the chef from the Stella ( rated number one on tripadvisor) can cook for you out of season if arranged via Apollon. We were more than happy self catering, taking in the view, and some of the local muscat. We would not hesitate in coming back to stay as a family. It would also be good for a group of friends. Thanks Apollon!

Bezaubernde Villa am Meer

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in der Villa Aeolos sehr genossen. Das Haus ist fast noch schöner als auf den Fotos dargestellt. Und Apollon ist ein sehr aufmerksamer freundlicher Vermieter, der uns viele gute Tipps geben konnte. Es ist der schönste Start in den Tag, sich morgens auf die Terrasse zu setzen und aufs Meer zu blicken. Einfach traumhaft! Ein ganz kleiner Kritikpunkt ist vielleicht, dass man direkt vor der Villa nur schwer ins Meer kommt zum Schwimmen, da die Steine sehr groß sind. Aber der Steg ins Meer ist ganz in der Nähe. Und, da man sowieso ein Auto braucht, sind schöne Strände nicht weit. Uns hat besonders Psili Ammos im Westen gefallen. Wir können die Villa Aeolos sehr empfehlen und würden sie auf jeden Fall wieder mieten.

Un luogo dell'anima.

La meravigliosa villa ed il contesto in cui è inserita è un unicum che non ha rivali in tutta l'isola che abbiamo trovato stupenda nella sua natura, nelle spiagge, nella sua incontaminata bellezza. Una casa accogliente, ben organizzata, dotata di tutto il necessario comfort, con spazi ampi ed armonici. Esterni panoramici su un mare di colori intensi e meravigliosi come solo l'Egeo può garantire. Apollon che ne è il proprietario è una persona simpatica, intelligente e disponibile. Una fonte di preziose informazioni e una garanzia di buone relazioni. Un ulteriore valore aggiunto al luogo sono il fantastico ristorante cipriota proprio accanto alla villa e una taverna tra le migliori nella nostra esperienza greca che risale ormai a 15 anni di regolare frequentazione. Un esperienza davvero felice.

Fantastic holidays

The villa is fantastic, extremely comfortable and spacious, situated straight at the ocean. Definitely recommended for families! All pictures are a truly reflection of what you will get. The bedrooms were perfect , beds super comfortable , comfy pillows and as the rest of the house, beautifully decorated . Apollon was a most welcoming host and happy to help with recommending restaurants, shops and activities. I would not hesitate to book this property next time we visit Samos.
