A Mixed Bag
The villa has a beautiful pool and view. When booking this villa we considered this very elegant, as per the photos and price. We usually enjoyed the beautiful sunrise in the morning. The villa itself was spacious, and my children enjoyed the extra room they had on the upper floors.
When we arrived, however, we were never explained about the spa and the electric awnings, something we tried to control with varying success thru our stay.
Unfortunately, upon closer look we found the villa was not kept clean very well. My wife and I found the kitchen uncleaned, with coffee and grounds in the coffeemaker and general clutter in the kitchen. My wife was able to unclutter and clean the kitchen table, legs and counter and it looked presentable, but we didn't consider using the oven, it was too dirty. In general there was dust and spider webs everywhere. I looked once under the bed, there was a lot of dust. The curtains were dirty. Out bathroom was dark, due to a light buld being out.
It was a shame, as the property, location and view are exceptional. We has a good time, but if there was more attention to the details and cleanliness this would have been a great villa.
