Since we arrived tried to contact Expedia that we were upset about the room but due to poor internet connection could not get thru. Had to walk steep stairs to the 3rd floor, of an old building, huffing n puffing, rattan on chairs tattered, dilapidated mattress, filthy bacteria laden string to pull flush, toilet cover cracked, insecure seat, lumpy pillows, old stained mirror, breakfast laid out in old plastic containers.Horrible! Pics on website deceiving, upset! Only saving grace were staff and lady who cooked breakfast offered us scrambled eggs on second last morning.breakfast area colourful but had shoddy curtains and laundry sheets - we had no idea what we were getting into as we booked a package air and hotel. We have booked a lot of travel with Expedia but this was the worst. Moved to second floor mattress better. Imagine walking up and down those steep stairs - had to take a break to catch our breath. Not used to these standards. Upsetting experience.

Amazing Pelourinho

The building for this hotel is 400 years old. Very simple, very safe! Staff is wonderful and very accommodating. Very picturesque area full of restaurants and music with plenty of police to make us safe. Excellent WiFi, nice breakfast. I will return

Cheap decent hotel with minimal amenities

The hotel is in an excellent location. Many attractions are very close and in walking direction. The hotel room itself is quite spartan and does not have much amenities. You might want to bring stuff like tooth paste, toiletries such as soap etc. The wifi is quite bad. On the plus side, it is quite cheap and the folks are very friendly.

Um achadinho valioso no Centro Histórico

O hotel é bem localizado, no Centro Histórico então dá pra fazer muita coisa pelos arredores. A pensar de ser um prédio antigo é bem confortável e tudo muito limpo e organizado. O atendimento é 10/10, todos os funcionários foram super educados e gentis. Pra quem vai sair a noite e tem medo, sempre tem policiamento ao redor, e o pessoal da portaria vem atender bem rápido. Então curtam sem medo Já virou meu achadinho favorito ✨

Fomos muito bem recebidos. Estadia super tranquila. Ficamos em um quarto amplo e confortável, com vista para rua (Pelourinho). No check out, conseguimos deixar as malas na recepção e fomos fazer um passeio antes do nosso embarque. Antes de sairmos, ainda conseguimos tomar um banho (banheiro disponível na área de baixo).
