Nice hotel, close to shopping and aquarium. Staff was very friendly and professional.

Outside construction on the whole facility, jacuzzi pu of order, room smelled like smoke in "non-smoking room".

I will stay and continue use The Courtyard by Marriott's facilities whenever I travel. It's the people that make it a pleasant place and the decor is modern but sheik.

Hotel is conveniently located for visiting family in Salt Lake City. The room was small and on the ground floor. There were fans blowing in the hall outside my room. The air was damp and musty...otherwise my stay was enjoyable.

Great location, and a hotel with style, but lacked a staff with courtesy or the hospitality you would expect from this company. I purchased a breakfast package with the room, but this had been lost in communication between the two services. The manager did not believe me, so I have to pay an extra $30 for breakfast. The staff was nice, but not helpful or hospitable. I will be second-guessing the next time I book with this company.

This was the second time staying at this hotel for me. I do love the location convenience. One drawback to the hotel room is the noisy air conditioner unit. To keep the room comfortable, it has to run very often. If listening to the television, the volume has to be turned up and down. If trying to sleep, it seems to waken you several times due to the noise. The second drawback is the lack of proper lighting in the bathroom vanity area. When getting ready in the morning for a day of class or exploring, it seems difficult to see what you are doing. Other than that, I felt very comfortable and safe at the hotel.

Stayed at the Courtyard Marriot off of Holiday St for four days. While I didn't spend a ton of time at the hotel, the staff got me in and out quickly and were friendly and funny. The breakfast was wonderful and comparable to prices in the area, and the touch information board in the lobby was particularly cool. Great place, easy to get to, and right in the middle of everything I wanted to get to. Recommended.

I stayed for two nights for a work visit to SLC. This was my first visit to SLC and the folks at the desk were very nice. The rooms are clean and big.

attended a conference fo work. Hotel had an odd smell, mix between a newly fresher painted room to a musky closed up room. Location was a bit far from h conference center and airport.

The Marriott Courtyard was easy to find and the staff were great. Found the room clean when I arrived, but it was not fully cleaned after my first nite, pretty large and appropriately organized for business use (free wifi/hard wire for internet). Small fitness center was fine for me (treadmill) and the hotel restaurant was perfect for a quick breakfast.

Very clean, friendly staff, reasonable rate, and a great location. Upon checking in, I requested a mountain view and the receptionist gladly accommodated. I would highly recommend this hotel to colleagues traveling to the Salt Lake City area.

great

Room was very clean, quiet, very comfortable bed.

The hotel was very clean. The staff was helpful and courteous. The lobby was very nice and the rooms were well appointed. We definitely used the fitness room, also.

Overall, pleasant stay and met our needs in terms of location. But... even with 'smoke-free' policy, the room had the smell of smoke which took a while to get used to. Hotel could not supply us with a room/air freshener. Mattress and pillows did not provide adequate support that one would expect.

Loved the coffee in the lobby, easy on and off elevator, computer and printer for checking in and printing out boarding passes. Close to South Towne Mall and other shopping. Close to on and off I-15 interstate. Friendly and outgoing staff. The hotel is a little older with dated colors but other than that, this was a nice stay for us.

Stayed there when we went to a snowboard compitition, The beds were great very comfortable. room was very nice and clean, freeway was close by, but the noise from it was bearable. was dissapointed that they did not offer a continental breakfast, and the food at the food court was about the same as if I would go to a restaurant. Coffee was good. Front desk staff was fantastic i was very impressed but will stay at holiday inn express next time. SORRY

We chose this hotel because of its proximity to Snowbird and Alta...only 30 minutes away. There were affordable breakfast options at the small cafe in the lobby. We were able to watch the morning news in our own personal booth while we at breakfast. There was a ski rental shop right behind the hotel. Great views from the 4th floor too! If your plan is to ski Solitude, Brighton, or any of the Park City resorts, stay further north towards Salt Lake.

Despite it's location rather far south in the SLC area, it was quite convenient. It only took about 20 minutes to get there from the airport, and less than one hour to get to the Park City ski resorts. There were plenty of dining options nearby, although most were a bit crowded on Friday and Saturday evening. As usual for hotels, heat was an issue - they keep the building (hallways) too hot - probably 80 degrees or so. Even in February, the only way to keep the room cool enough to sleep comfortably was to keep the window open all day and night. And, although the rooms and the public areas of the hotel were clean and recently refurbished, the bed, linens, and towels were somewhat old, worn, and low-quality. The high-speed internet was pretty good - not blazing speed but decent, except one day when it was very slow for a few hours. Overall, though, this hotel was a very good place to stay.
