Absolutely terrible tv channels with very few channels and no HD. Not overly clean. Place should be renovated. However bed was fairly comfortable.
Customer service was good , but room had a bad smell ! Not fresh and bathroom was starting to require some work ! Breakfast was okay , but no cold milk or fresh fruit or yogurts ! Juices were not tasty, too watered down ! But for value , I would stay there again !
Very plIn room. Did not get feeling was very clean. Bathroom small, no counter space. One face cloth for 2 people. No facial tissues. Bed was ok but only 2 pillows. Wi Fi was adequate. Was a good pub with good food next door and was handy to gas and con penitence store etc. Complimentery breakfast was sparse.
We booked a room here solely due to the price - just a place to sleep to break up our trip to the coast during winter conditions. It was clean and quiet (a specific request that was obliged). The room was terribly cold but the heater worked when it was turned on. We had to request an additional towel as only one was provided. A 2-cup coffee pot is provided, but be prepared to use their powdered "plastic" coffee whitener. The eating area in the front lobby was locked in the evening but one could ask the desk clerk for creamers from their fridge (I'm guessing). The advertised "free" continential breakfast is carb/sugar heavy - no protein in sight. Be prepared to pack food along or stop at the nearby McD's or Tim Horton's for more substantial fortification. Front desk clerks were friendly enough but not really engaged. The main thing is that we got a good sleep in a clean bed, and had a hot shower in the morning to start the day. We feel we got what we paid for. Pub at the rear of the hotel was decent enough but pricey.
Not the best motel. Rooms were tired looking. Bed was not made properly and blankets had tears in them. Continental breakfast was OK. Orange juice was very watery. almost impossible to plug in your car because snow was in the way.
I will not stay here again. There where bed bugs. I was covered in bites only after one night stay. The rooms where disgusting and the sinks where clogged.
I was very happy with the room being nice and clean. Although I was sitting on our bed at 7 am and someone had tried to break in. They must have had a spare key to our room as I heard the door open and hit the safety latch. Luckily it was locked, I yelled out and proceeded to chase the person down a flight of stairs and they ran from the building. I notified the person at reception and they wanted nothing to do with it, saying the wind might have blown the door. I explained that the person ran when I yelled out, but they didn't want to hear it. Very disappointed in the response and was left feeling unsafe. Especially since my girlfriend was in the shower at this time and It could have been someone in the room without her knowing. Asked to talk to the manager and for them to look at the security cameras. Was told the manager wont be back for a month and they cant look at the cameras. Very dissapointing!!!
This property has excellent, attentive staff. The rooms definitely need an upgrade. The hotel is tired. The rates are reflective of this - so if you're not expecting 5 star - you'll be fine. It is quiet and adequate - just old and worn.
Getting very run down. The morning we left no hot water. Front desk asked if we ran the water. We said yes for at least 5 minutes
Room was clean and quiet, but pillows were very flat. Got a sore neck. Not great selection at breakfast.
