The desk manager was a pleasure. He was very nice, and helped us to find a great local restaurant.

Check in staff hard to understand. Room had burnt out light Bulb, Bathroom had no shower curtain, no ventilation fan and very few towels.In room coffee maker was still dirty and no stir sticks Complimentary breakfast was very sparse. No fruit and had to get staff to replenish milk for the two types of cereal. One type of bread. no Bagels WiFi weak and not secure

It was a clean average motel but I felt it was a little expensive($91 including tax for one person) for what it was and not in peak season

I have stayed in this hotel two times in last 3 years. First experience was relatively good. We were in Salmon Arm since morning. We arrived at front desk at 3:00 pm for check in. The Front Desk lady ask us to wait for 45 min as rooms were not ready. After waiting for 45 min in the lobby when we approach the front desk again, the lady told us she told us that rooms are still not ready and she cannot give us anytime. She so rudely insulted us that there are no rooms available in the city today. if you cannot wait you can walk out. Our three rooms were booked almost two months in advance and this is the first time I have seen such behavior with the guests. Later she left the front desk and almost around 5:00 pm we were told to check in. I have booked rooms for 4 adults occupancy. Now she start arguing that they will charge extra $20. I showed her my confirmation which clearly shows that its booked for 4 adults and I have paid more at time of booking but she again said that I can go to some where else. I ask her see my booking and after attending customer behind me she put a note on my receipt and give us the keys for entering rooms around 5:30 pm.

We reserved a pet friendly room and I convinced my husband that a super 8 has as high of standards as all of the Wyndham properties... I was wrong. The hotel staff was nice but the room was awful. The moment we walked in we smelled a musty stench of pee. There were large stains on the carpet and holes in the wall, dents in the bathroom floor and the plastic sealing around the bathtub was brown and pealing. We would have gone soemwhere else but it was around 12:30am when we checked in and we were all exhausted. I have never felt more dirty after a stay in my life. We didn't get a good sleep and only stayed for 4 hours before looking at my husband and saying let's get out of here. Wyndham properties are usually amazing but clearly this owner did not care to uphold their standard.

found front entry and stairs dirty, room stank, desk staff seemed more engaged with surfing the web on their phones then customer service, dont ask for laundry change because staff flat out refused to provide change, rarely was their someone at the front desk during working hours. 2.5/5

We stayed at the Super 8 in Salmon Arm on 10 September 2017. First of all it was not well signposted. Found it with assistance of the GPS. Booking in was no problem but when we got to to room it was not well appointed. There were 2 flat pillows on the bed. I went off to ask for better pillows. Got them eventually. Had I known that there was no stopper/or plug in the basin in the bathroom I would have asked for that as well. Anyway managed the basin situation by closing the outlet with a towel. There was no wifi available and we did ask at reception. Breakfast the following morning was interesting! Obviously no effort is put in to make it attractive. There was no supervision in the breakfast room at all. It is a pity that all this is so because this hotel has all one needs to make things comfortable. What it needs is good management.

Mysterious sticky substance on bathroom floor was disconcerting. Overall, room was in need of a good scrubbing.

For anyone just passing through the area and just need a bed for one night I would highly recommend this Super 8 property. It is clean, quiet and one could not ask or expect more.

The room that we had was very dirty, no facecloths, one coffee cup......smelly quilt and 1 bar of soap...blood spots on pillow that could be seen thru very thin pillow case.......there were blood stains on the wall under the window.....the so-called breakfast was absolutely not acceptable.....no cream for coffee, only milk....one Costco muffin cut in 6ths......no fruit......will never ever stop at this motel anymore and will advise my friends not to also......they should maybe have all of their carpets cleaned in rooms and hallways.
