Super 8 by Wyndham Salisbury

Soon as I walked down the hallway to find our room, all I smelled was Marijuana. I was on a non smoking floor

The hotel was okay. Other than where the ac unit is at you could see out the side to the parking lot. The people who were above us sounded like they were having a party so damn loud. The bed was so hard. The man at the desk was nice. No ice in the ice machine and no soda machine was out of order. So yeah...not bad but not good.

Lots of people hanging out in parking lot. Rooms musty smelling, sheets scratchy, hallways smelled like smoke.

This is an older property which could use some redecorating but it was clean and comfortable and the staff was very pleasant. I would stay here again.

My experience this time was terrible my room was dirty bathroom filthy and I was told to leave because they were booked.

Clean , pleasant enough, no elevator if you are on the second floor. Can be a bit of a hump lugging stuff up to your room.

I checked in and checked out within 10 minutes. First of all, there was no elevator, second of all, the room was filthy, smelt like someone had been chain smoking in the room, even though I had to sign a "non-smoking" agreement when I checked in. Then was told there were no other rooms available, so I had to go find somewhere else to stay. NEVER again will I EVER book a room with a Super 8, this was a DISGRACE. After only being in the room for 3 minutes, my clothing and my 5 year olds clothing smelt of cigarettes, this hotel should be shut down!

First room had a very strong damp musky odor. Second room smelled of smoke and had cigarette burns on sink even though it was supposed to be a non smoking room. There was MOLD in the ice machine. Staff were polite and friendly but the overall condition of this hotel was very disappointing.

Feel like sleeping in between traffic.We got room facing Interstate and window were very poor to stop traffic sound. I could not sleep whole night because of heavy traffic sounds. Prefer some other hotel which is not close to interstate or try to get room other side of building which wont have traffic sounds. Overall Terrible stay...I will never stay in hotel again

I've stayed here many times and it is always clean and gets the job done. Not a resort, but very adequate.

the bed was just as if not more comfortable than the expensive places we stay while on vacation. We will stay here every time we stop in here!

This hotel was perfect for an overnight stay in Salisbury, NC. Staff was wonderful. Was surprised that I accidentally requested a smoking room, did not think it was legal. This being said, the room was clean and nice, except the pillows smelled like smoke. Lesson learned. Indoor pool was nice,

Travelers be reminded that you get what you pay for. For me, it was absolutely not worth the $ savings to book this hotel over more expensive ones for my one night stay. I consider a hotel to be a room containing a bed and bathroom. So what makes one hotel or chain in your price range stand out over another? IMO it is cuwtomer service, how they react and respond when something goes wrong. I arrived at the hotel without my drivers license. Entirely my fault. Despite having a prepaid reservation thru Orbitz, photo work-issued ID, and Orbitz customer service contacting the hotel, the front desk supervisor would not permit me to check in. I was left as a single female with a 6 year old child standing in the lobby at 7pm at night. The reservation did not state this as a requirement. The supervisor was not able to offer any solution, or contact the manager, or other. While pleasant, the supervisor was not empowered to do anything other than state these are the rules. The Super 8 corporate call center was equally as unable to offer a solution and cited fraud, despite me traveling with a 6 year old and the hotel holding Thomas the Tank Engine tickets in my name for a local event. Ultimately, I had no option other than to return home (4 hour round trip) get my license & return. Kicker here: hotel billed me for my stay despite it being prepaid. Overall not worth the hassle.

Overall it was clean, but I think it was a little outdated. No elevator just stairs to second floor and the hallways smelt like smoke

Everything about this stay was a great value, except for the bed comfort. While the room had a lot of nice things and amenities, the bed detracted from the overall experience.

We went to see Polar Express and Super 8 was the perfect place for a one night getaway. It was clean and very reasonably priced and offered breakfast.
