Found this place while looking for a VRBO and looked like a lot of fun. We stayed in one of the airstreams which was nice. All the larger older refurbished vintage trailers were reserved. If you can get one of those do! It was rainy so we didn’t get to enjoy the outdoors and bikes but still had a great, cozy trip!
We stayed in the 1977 Airstream Sovereign for one night during an annual girls' wine tasting excursion. They allowed us to park a car there while we spent the day wine tasting and then checked in later in the evening. We caught the tail end of a food truck serving wine tastings and enjoyed them around the built-in gas firepit/sitting area they have. We rode the vintage cruiser bikes to and from the firepit area - which was fun! The trailer has two bikes parked outside, but extras are available at the office on a first come, first serve basis. The trailer has been updated and has a full size bed and a banquet that turns into a bed with extra bedding. There were some electrical issues in the trailer, but they brought us an extra lamp because it was not something they could fix that evening. We also had trouble locking the door from the inside at night, but didn't have any security issues. The trailer has a small private bathroom, but there is also a public bathroom at the entrance to the resort with showers. Was a great experience and highly recommend for the unique experience while enjoying Oregon's beautiful wine country!
We stayed 2 nights here and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We stayed in the 1977 Airstream and loved it (even with the small hot water tank! LOL) We enjoyed both nights by the firepits - we even had pizza delivered to the Fireside and ate pizza and wings and shared a bottle of wine by the fire. It was WONDERFUL. The Airstream had upgraded touches in the kitchen and bath but still retained it's 1977 vintage appeal for sure. The front desk staff we encountered were wonderful. We had a blast cruising around on the bikes too. My in-laws have an RV so when they heard where were staying opted to get a hotel up the street - and regretted it!! They hung out with us in our driveway and at the fireside. They do have wine and beer in the General Store if you need it and a lot of cute stuff (I wanted one of each. :) ) Things to know - there is a small hot water tank so you have to take quick showers (no big deal). They have a large bathroom/shower area by the fire pits. My fiance loved riding the bikes so he gladly rode his bike to the showers and back to save the hot water for me. The shower/bathroom area looks new and is very nice.
We had a group fo30 people come in over a long weekend. There are a variety of trailers to choose from depending on each couples or family needs. This is a great experience to breakaway from the traditional hotel room experience. The facility has a pool, workout room and shared bathroom facility should you desire a long hot shower. Our camper was designed for a couple. Double bed, kitchen table, full bathroom. Pleanty of storage and room for our two roller bags. If you have more luggage you may want to store it in your car. The kitchen has dishes and coffe stuff. There is a gas BBQ for grilling or Jiffy Pop. There are two Adirondack chairs and umbrella to enjoy the outdoor ambience and give you another living room. The bed is very comfortable and you have Roku Tv. There are two bicycles to ride around the compound in and makes for fun family entertainment. Our group is holding an event in the common area and is perfect for private gatherings. The front desk and general store has goodies to get your started your first night and satisfy any last minute cravings. They have slippers and robes. Drip Coffee and creamer for the first night. Then go to the market, they have a good size Refrigerator. I can’t wait to come back with my grandchildren as this is a great spot for a family reunion. Don’t be a snob, give it a try. This is a really fun experience., glad we did it.
We had such a great weekend at the Vintages! My husband and our 16-month old spent 2 nights here and it was so great! The staff and accommodations were amazing. We spent time at the pool, riding bikes, grilling and sipping wine on the deck. I highly recommend staying here if you are touring wine country! It is the perfect place to get away and relax :)
Stay here; This place is a fun and unforgettable experience! We loved our stay at The Vintages Trailer Resort. The friendly, retro vibe is unique, as is the setting of the bigger RV community. The trailers themselves are in great shape and the inside is adorable, yet functional. The cruiser bikes, general store and pool are added bonuses! It is situated in the middle of wine country and a great location for exploring the area. The staff at the front desk is friendly and can send you in the right direction.
Brought back memories of our days long gone of camping. The unit was clean and nice with a queen bed. Everything on the inside appeared to be new. Staff was very friendly. Space was cramped so staying one night while visiting wine country was enough for us.
I bought a Groupon for one night at The Vintages that came with a tasting at Durant Vineyards at Red Ridge. We stayed in a very clean, later model Airstream - not a vintage trailer but that was okay with us! The weather was outstanding so we rode the bikes supplied by the resort around a bit, oohing and aahing at the vintage trailers, chatting with other "campers" and visiting the resort’s small sundry store for ice cream. Next, we slipped over to Durant Vineyards at Red Ridge for a tasting – only a few miles away - and then into McMinnville to lookie-loo, finally having tapas at La Rambla. It was my husband's birthday and I think it was the wonderful celebration; staying at The Vintages was the icing on his birthday cake and being able to sleep in “our” Airstream after a lovely day was so much fun :) I highly recommend checking out The Vintages and the surrounding area; for us, it was the perfect place to stay after the perfect outing.
What a blast to stay in a 1957 RV. Small subset of a larger RV community. Very much like hanging out with the Cleavers or on The Wonder Year’s set. Fun for couples or family. Great evening setting for fire rings. Centrally located for our wine tasting excursions in Willamette.
We love the vibe of the Vintage trailers in this trailer Resort. We ended up staying in an Airstream which had plenty of room along with sink refrigerator and delicious pour over coffee that we had never tried before. Each trailer is unique and so cute. You feel like you have stepped back in time. We also loved using the bikes that are in front of each trailer to take a ride around the park several times during our stay.
