Comfort Inn And Suites McMinnville

For the most part, this is no different from any other chain along any other highway in America. We stayed here after finding few mid-range options in the Willamette Valley. Everything seemed to be either five-star or one-star. But when I called to ask about one room I saw online, I was told it was the Seinfeld suite because Jerry Seinfeld had once stayed there. I figured they were probably pulling my leg, but I agreed to it just for the story. We arrived after a stressful, rain-soaked drive from Portland and were greeted with smiles and help navigating McMinnville. The room itself wasn't spectacular, but it was spacious and comfortable and suited our needs. The breakfast had eggs, bacon and sausage options each day as well as pastries and a make-your-own-waffle station. The only downside to the place was the machine coffee, which was not very good. When we left, I couldn't resist. I asked the front desk person if the Seinfeld story was really true. She said it was. "Did he stay here after a show?" I asked. She said no. After the hotel first opened, he stayed so he could take in a classic car show in the area. The guy really loves his cars, I guess. Anyway, we enjoyed staying there. It's rare to stay in a chain motel and have a good story to tell.

We just completed a 2 day stay at the McMinnville Comfort Inn and am very dissatisfied. The front desk personnel were very impersonal and rude, couldn't or didn't want to answer questions about local business such as the water park and short with patrons paying their bill. This attitude didn't just occur to me but to other patrons when I was standing in line on other issues. The other issues are many. When we got back from dinner one night the grand kids ran ahead to go into the room. They didn't have to use the card keys as the door was unlocked. When brought this to the attention of the front desk we got the comment that if someone holds onto the door knob too long prior to closing and leaving, then it disactifies the auto lock. Our stuff was the room was not secure and not knowing this could happen was inexcusable by not being informed of the problem by staff. We also had to have our key card reactivated many times. The front staff said this problem happens all the time. Even though we were told cookies would be available during the evening shift none were made and put out. The breakfast was a joke. We were there around 8:30 only to find that the waffles mix was empty and line waiting for more. The sausage, eggs and bacon case was empty and slow to be refilled because the person in charge was more interested in visiting than working. The same with the front desk gal when she was eating breakfast. Took off with the milk when she got a call. The last morning the kids were going to go for one last swim only to find out that the pool area was shut down for a repairman. Do it at night when its closed! I should have complained about the in room refrigerator noise, it was horrible but I didn't plus the mystery sock we found on the floor from a prior tenant under the bed edge. There were other things that didn't work but I think you get the point. We and other family members have stayed here in the past with great results. This time however was a disaster. Won't stay here again even though its close to the water park. Thanks, CP

This place was great for my short work trip recently. The service was great, a decent continental breakfast, plus they offer delicious free cookies at the front desk. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable.

In the past we stayed at the red lion and it had gone down hill so we tried this hotel and found a great deal for my family we come here for church events. We have small children and they are very accommodating. ItsO clean, quiet, and good price. Pool is fun and food ok. Rooms are big too.

Chose this hotel chain because we're familiar with the brand. Our room was clean, the breakfast was plentiful and the staff was friendly. We were in the area visiting a local college and were happy with our choice. We'd stay again if ever in the area.

The McMinnville Comfort Inn is by far the best one my hubby and I have stayed at. The hotel is gorgeous, clean, and well kept up. Staff are professional and friendly. The room was amazingly comfy and updated....I could have slept 12 hours in that cloud of a bed. Breakfast had a ton of options, and was great as well. No complaints...would love to stay here again.

Our check in was smooth and easy and we were delighted with our room. It was clean, spacious and nicely appointed with comfy bed, flat screen tv, ample bedside outlets to charge our devices, free wifi, sofa, microwave and fridge. My daughter enjoyed their gym and the breakfast offered much more than we expected from scrambled eggs to cooked to perfection bacon and other cooked meats. The one area that could be improved upon is very minor but the bathroom soap is very thin, no shower gel. I will definitely take my own next time. I must mention their bath towels are very plush and fluffy. Front office clerk, Jacob was a joy to deal wiith, very personable with excellent customer service skills.

First off.. they don't have box springs for their beds... instead it's a wooden board that's surprisingly easy to bang you shins on... without a box spring the mattresses were literally falling apart... springs stabbed thru the sheet into my back... ridiculous! Had to ask for a microwave from another room... outside there was dog pooh piles everywhere... trash strewn across to parking lot from their overflowing trash bin... Besides that... it's a decent place to stay if you have no other option but your car... probably just as comfy...

Big rooms, nicely furnished, super clean and quiet, and very close to the Evergreen Aviation Museum, which was our target for the stop in McMinnville. Decent breakfast too, with the usual food. Staff was welcoming and very helpful. Thank you all for a great stay.

I arrived here last night quite late due to weather and a full day travelling from the UK. Not only was the lady on reception so pleasant, when I asked was there any where for food (I was SO hungry) close-by as I did not have a car she went and grabbed me a couple of yogurts out of the breakfast fridge to tide me over. How very kind! The room is so clean so much so you feel comfortable walking around bare foot. Looking forward to my next 3 nights stay.
