Ok

Very clean, seems to be great for families with kids. Over priced, not a 4 star feel, very disappointed to have to pay for 1 hour spa use - €15 per person! - parking, breakfast, bikes...nothing seems to be included. Peaceful yet isolated location.

Beautiful area

I was a beautiful place to stay on the Island Re. The staff was super-friendly and helpful. The vineyards all around were nice to see. It was pretty close to everything to do. Not very private away from other guests, but it looks like all the hotels in the area have the same set-up. It was fine.

Lots to like, but check it's right for you

It's hard to review this hotel. If it's what you're expecting, it's probably great - but read the online reviews to check it will suit you. On the plus side: very peaceful; nice pool; each room has a terrace. On the downside: no restaurant; about 1km to nearest restaurant/shop; room a bit tired; staff seemed weary of dealing with clients whose experience didn't match expectations. It seems to suit families who enjoy the pool & use the rooms (with sitting areas & kitchens that are unlocked for a payment) as holiday apartments. There are tables/chairs and drinks available, but no bar staff: You just ask at reception. Consequently, it lacks atmosphere...If you like a hotel where you can enjoy a pre/post drink and convivial chat, it's probably not for you.

Lovely boutique hotel in serene location

Lovely quiet, peaceful location surrounded by vineyards, 500m from the sea, accessed by foot from right outside the hotel door. Hotel consisted of adjoining ground floor terrace rooms. Our room was a little smaller than expected from pictures, but good use of space available and decorated more natural than a larger hotel. Toilet and bathroom separated via doors either side of bed. Had a pool and hot tub available within defined hours that unfortunately we missed. Breakfast was expensive, but small number of made to order additional options included and held either in small quiet restaurant or terrace available. Lovely decorated lounge area and communal areas. Reception staff (Hubert) was brilliant checking us in. Secure parking available via automatic gate (additional fee). Options to rent bikes. Was a lovely place to spend a night, with nice small local restaurants within 10 mins driving and further within the island. WiFi was intermittent at best during our stay with different nodes available throughout the complex.

Peaceful and sleepy location

The hotel is beautiful and is in a very quiet spot. The staff are very helpful and breakfast is great. The nearest 'strip' of restaurants is in La Flotte a 15 minute drive away

Barely a hotel

This hotel offers little more than a place to sleep and a small pool. We arrived shortly after noon, with a wedding to attend at 3, only to find that the hotel was closed for lunch. The fact that the hotel shuts for 2 hours every day is not advertised and caused us a lot of trouble. I'd also advise anyone staying on the island to rent a car, it's almost impossible to get a taxi. For the price and what is provided, this hotel is a complete ripoff...

A perfect hotel to get a way from it all rooms are like mini apartments .It has a pool area overlooking vines .We found staff helpful and friendly it is a five min walk into st marie de re which is a very small traditional french village .A short drive to a lot of good restaurants there is one in the village but it can be shut on mondays overall very good place to get away from it all.

The hotel is brand new and very clean but it's hard to recognize it as a 4 star hotel. The swimming pool is quite small, and above all every extra (as parking, breakfast, coffe, bikes ) has to be payed quite expensive. The very positive note is the service, Stesy and the other reception girls have been exceptional. Extremely kind, helpful and with a great sense of problem solving. Thank you so much!
