The "Retour aux sources" (Back to Basics) gîte, located in the heart of the charming village of Saint Nicolas des Biefs, offers a tranquil escape in the Bourbonnais mountains. Come disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and reconnect with nature in this enchanting setting. In summer or winter, with friends or family, you'll have a wide range of activities to choose from: hiking trails starting right from the gîte, discovering local flora and fauna, swimming and water sports at the Saint Clément lake (11 km away), cultural visits, and local crafts. An inn and a grocery store are conveniently located on the village's renovated square. A second, adjoining gîte for 4 to 6 people will soon be available. Perfect if you want to share your experience and get together!

Ground floor: access the entrance via a wooden terrace. Open-plan kitchen/dining room, reading nook, shower room (shower and toilet) with washing machine.

First floor: 1 bedroom for 2 people (queen-size bed 160 x 200 cm), a living room.

Second floor: 2 bedrooms for 2 people (one with a double bed 140 x 190 cm, facing the stairs, and the other with a queen-size bed 160 x 200 cm).
Electric heating in the bedrooms, shower room, and living room; pellet stove in the kitchen/dining room.

This cottage, located in the heart of the village, does not have a garden. However, the surrounding countryside and open spaces will delight you. The griddle and garden furniture are stored indoors from mid-October to mid-April.

The cottage's amenities: bed linen provided and beds made upon arrival, towels, end-of-stay cleaning, electric heating and electricity included.
