This cottage, created in 2014, near the landing beaches and the sea offers an unobstructed view of the marsh, with a wooden terrace facing south / southwest over an enclosed garden. Located 100m from the beach, 1km from the Quinéville seaside resort where you can find all the essential shops, as well as restaurants, a cookie and the World War II museum.

Particularity of this coast: the only one in France where the sun rises over the sea and in the evening there are very beautiful moonrises.

TOURISM: In addition to the historic sites of the coast, you will enjoy discovering its many small ports such as Barfleur and Saint Vaast la Hougue whose Vauban tower is classified as a UNESCO heritage site. You will appreciate the pretty port city of Cherbourg and can visit the city of the sea and the submarine the Redoutable.

Unser Aufenthalt war wunderbar und herrlich erholsam. Die Lage ist sensationell, nur drei Minuten zum Meer. AmĂ©lie ist eine sehr sympathische Gastgeberin, Check-in und -out funktionieren reibungslos. FĂŒr unsere beiden Hunde war der große, eingezĂ€unte Garten ein Paradies. Wir wĂŒrde jederzeit wieder buchen!

météo tres mauvaise (mais partout en général ) donc element non gérable !!! pour le reste endroit magnifique calme absolu; authenticité, nature sauvage nous avons adoré, peu d activites a part des musées suite au debarquement , une hotesse tres accueillante, a refaire avec un peu de soleil

Gite Saint Marcouf

We had a very good stay for visiting the WWII sites. The gite/house was funished well, some older pieces, but ok. The most we did in the house was sleeping, and the beds were good. Also the landlady gave good informations about the surroudings at check-in. And also that if we had further questions we could ask her. The stay was OK.

Leuk zonnig verblijf

We hadden een aangenaam verblijf. Het is een knus proper huisje. Mits enkele opknapwerken (terras, slaapkamerdeur die niet sloot) en een nieuwe zetel in de woonkamer is dit een toplocatie. Wel rekening houden dat je van de winkels en restaurants minimaal 15 Ă  20 minuutjes verwijderd bent, maar verder is dit een top startpunt om de volledige Normandische kust te verkennen.

Toller Urlaub in schöner Ferienwohnung

Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett und jederzeit erreichbar und im Notfall auch innerhalb einer halben Stunde beim Ferienhaus. Die Wohnung ist modern eingerichtet und sehr sauber (auch der Backofen :-)) Die Betten sind sehr bequem und wie es in Frankreich ĂŒblich ist, gibt es im Doppelbett eine große Zudecke. Wer sich abends gerne auf der Couch in eine Decke einkuschelt, muss sich allerdings selbst eine mitbringen. Ansonsten ist alles vorhanden. Besonders super fanden wir, dass es nicht nur im Obergeschoss ein Duschbad mit WC gab, sondern zusĂ€tzlich noch im Erdgeschoss eine Toilette. Der Ausblick von der Terasse in die grĂŒne Landschaft ist wunderschön und auch den Hunden hat der große Garten gut gefallen. Bei der Terasse gibt es einen Sichtschutz zu den benachbarten FeriengĂ€sten, der Rest ist wahrscheinlich wegen des Ausblicks nur mit einem Drahtzaun eingezĂ€unt. Obwohl das Ferienhaus eine DoppelhaushĂ€lfte ist, haben wir im Haus absolut nichts von den anderen Mietern gehört. Die ganze Familie hat sich wirklich sehr wohl in diesem Ferienhaus gefĂŒhlt und wenn man gut erzogene Hunde hat, dann kann man die Unterkunft bestens weiterempfehlen. Kurz gesagt: TOP!

bon sejour

L’accueil de notre hĂŽtesse a Ă©tĂ© trĂšs bon, ainsi que toute l'organisation pour notre arriver. Le gite est neuf et bien Ă©quipĂ©. Les deux salles de bain sont trĂšs pratique Ă  l'effectif maximum! L'environnement est TRÈS calme (fin fĂ©vrier 2022) et la proximitĂ© de la mer un vraie plaisir (200m). Tout petit axe d’amĂ©lioration en ce qui concerne les sommiers des lits en 140 (un peu petit et frĂȘle pour rugbyman de 100kg). Sinon un trĂšs bon sĂ©jour. Merci.
