Great for a night whilst driving down south

Great position just across the river from the city centre so had parking. Fabulous service including happily allowing us enjoy some drinks from the bar despite it being outside of official opening hours. Could do with a bit of work on the outside for increased kerbside appeal.

The hotel is away in a commercial area yet close by car to all local attractions. The area is very quiet at night as workers are home. This suited us well coming in early and late in the day we really faced no traffic or noise as we slept. Good hotel, some noise from closing doors on the hallways yet we were not disturbed by it.

Good overnight stay.

We needed an overnight stay close to the motorway, arriving at night. Hotel was easy to find with GPS; our room was small but adequate; bathroom was tiny but clean. Hotel receptionist was helpful giving directions to local restaurant within easy walking distance. Overall, for an inexpensive necessary bed for the night it was fine.

Mid-journey stop-off

Great value and friendly staff but be aware; the restaurant appears to be closed Friday and Saturday evenings. Thankfully there's a good Chinese buffet restaurant 5 minutes walk away. The rooms are tight (particularly the bathrooms) and it is close to a main road but for a simple, low-cost, overnight stop, half way through France, it fitted the bill. The surrounding area is a commercial zone but the up side of this is that it's easy too get to and relatively quiet at night.

Sehr enttĂ€uscht kamen wir an, da wir gemĂ€ss Internetfoto vorfreudig ein charmantes Altstadt-Riegelhaushotel erwarteten. Stattdessen landeten wir in einer Jugendherberge im Industriegebiet. Wir fĂŒhlen uns von Hotel.com etwas betrogen. Zumal das Personal auch nicht super-freundlich war und uns fĂŒr zwei Personen nur ein Duschemittel Ă  12 Ml (=Single Portion) bereitlegte. Man meinte, dies sei normal - wir nennen es geizig. FĂŒr eine Nacht wĂ€re auch dieses Hotel ok gewesen, aber wir haben anhand der Fotos etwas anderes erwartet, respektive gebucht.

Personnel dĂ©sagrĂ©able. On arrive en avance (1h) c’est clair mais l’hĂŽtesse ne regarde pas si la chambre est prĂȘte c’est direct les chambres c’est Ă  partir de 16:00. C’est clair elle doivent toutes ĂȘtre prĂȘte Ă  16:00 aucune avant. Chambre petite. Baignoire Ă©caillĂ©es. MĂȘme pas de machine Ă  cafĂ© dans la chambre c’est un standard maintenant surtout quand tu affiches 3 Ă©toiles. Chambre non climatisĂ©e. Interrupteur trĂšs mal placĂ©e la nuit tu peux facilement allumĂ© la chambre plutĂŽt que la salle de bain. Je note l’effort fait pour le petit dĂ©jeuner Ă  5:00 pour le dĂ©part du Triathlon. Sinon trĂšs surpris de l’apparence de l’hĂŽtel entre la photo sur booking et la rĂ©alitĂ© (en photo)
