While the front desk person was kind and accommodating to an early check-in, the stay was’t great. They warned us that the Amtrak train across the street was loud. They offered ear plugs but said the train stops at night. That was not true. The train woke up my young kids and dog at 2:15 am and 5:15 am. In addition to the unfortunate wake-up, the room wasn’t great. It was small and smelled (there was a dehumidifier going so maybe there was a flood in the room?), the heater didn’t work, and there were hairs in the shower. We were pretty disappointed overall with the stay. 2 stars for friendly check-in, and a central/walkable location.

The property is nice however parking is extremely limited. Also they did not have the upgraded room available that I booked. I had to spend an hour and a half of my vacation on the phone with Orbitz to get the refund for the additional amount I paid for the upgraded room. It was not a good experience with Orbitz.

Very nice lobby, friendly, helpful staff, good size room with comfy beds. However, we were right next to the train tracks and it was SUPER noisy. We didn’t sleep very well & we won’t stay here again.
Unfortunately the room I booked was not the one I received. When I asked for the correct room I was told sorry we have a wedding party here and we no longer have the room with a bathtub. They blamed orbitz.. I am disabled and needed the bath tub for relief from my pain. They where unable to accommodate my situation and pretty much said to bad and brushed me off. They never offered a refund or a upgrade.
