Freddies 13 yrs later.

We stayed here 13 yrs ago for our honeymoon, Freddie was still coking and it was only 12 rooms. It has kept its charm, some aspects are a victim of his success, more people, busier in the restaurant. But will stay again

Freddie Sumur Tiga great place to stay!!!!

The owner Mr.Freddie is very friendly ,we love his food.BBQ was cooked by him and food taste was superb. Freddie and his staff hospitality was great..10 star..highly recommend this resort to those who plan to go to Uweh Island..we even extended one night stay in this resort

Poor communication among the staff.. If you are paying at the properties better ask for the actual amount that has need to pay to avoid different information from their staff. Hope they can improve this thing in future. Other than that everything is ok.

Freddie is a great host. His team work hard to please. Breakfast is plentiful. Dinner for 71500 Rupiah is awesome. The menu changes daily. Right on the beach. Rooms are not 5 star but are very comfortable and clean. The New bungalows look amazing!. Highly recommend

Lovely beach for snorkelling, good food and a host who really cares you enjoy yourselves. We enjoyed a great snorkeling trip with Andy and Freddie and his team provide great food and a relaxing time.

A very friendly host eager to please

Freddie is a great host and eager to pleaese. He organised a great all day snorkelling trip that was amazing and very good value for money. Our bungalow was comfortable and spacious. If you are ever in Sabang then I would thoroughly recommend Freddie's as a place to stay.

This hotel is one of the best hotel on the island. Owner himself is very helpful, approachable and kind at his finest. Staff around are also friendly, they spoke English pretty well too. Our room was nice as well, great sea view and very comfortable, the only problem was it's not very quiet. Will definitely come back. 9/10

An experience not to be missed

My husband and I feel privileged to be staying at Freddie's ( we extended our stay to 12 days). It Is truly a unique experience. Not only is the accodomodation well-run and in a wonderful setting, but there is a community feeling here. Freddie makes the magic happen in many ways. For instance, as part of the announcement at dinner each night, he welcomes (individually) his variety of guests, asking about everyone's day. --- a very inclusive gesture. The meals are incredible --- an ever-changing menu, executed with great pride ---- and an unbelievable value. Also, Freddie goes out of his way to welcome the local community, giving his establishment an amazing, eclectic vibe. Such a great man, such a great place to stay.

Nice hotel, great snorkeling right on the beach.

The hotel itself is very Indonesian. Open air everything (no air con), yet still comfortable with breeze and fans. Even at night, we needed blankets quickly to stay comfy. The breakfast and dinner buffets were great and very affordable. Staff were all locals. They were very nice and aimed to please. We also went into Sabah City and had no problems, watched some football at the local stadium (free!), and spent a day at Iboih snorkeling. The snorkeling right at Freddies is also very good, so no real need to leave unless you want a change of pace. The beach at the hotel was nice white sand at low tide, but we had to move about one hundred meters to have sand at high tide. Overall excellent time at a very affordable price.
