Villa Aubons is a charming holiday cottage for rent in Mallorca, located in the quiet village of Crestatx, in the north of the island. It is a very peaceful and secluded area, but at the same time has all the amenities you may need nearby. In addition, Playa de Mucho, one of the most famous white sandy beaches in Mallorca with numerous restaurants and beach bars, is a short drive away.
Villa Aubons features a spacious and comfortable living room with a fireplace and dining table, a fully equipped office-style kitchen with a dining table, three double bedrooms (one with a double bed and the other two with two single beds each) and two bathrooms, both with bathtubs.
The living room has direct access to the covered terrace with a barbecue, rest areas and dining room with views of the Pacific landscape. You will definitely spend a lot of time outdoors, enjoying a large garden with lawn and typical Mediterranean vegetation, sunbathing and relaxing by the pool (6x3, depth 2.40 - 1.50) and enjoying stunning panoramic views.
The villa is equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay: air conditioning in all rooms, heating in all rooms, satellite TV, WiFi connection, dishwasher, bed linen and towels and much more.
The villa has a unique Mallorcan architecture: facade and internal walls of natural stone, wooden beams on the ceiling, wooden carpentry and decorative details. Thanks to the thick natural stone walls, it does not get hot in summer or cold in the winter months. In the Crestatx area, there are several cafés, bars and supermarkets that have everything you need for your holidays.

A calm retreat with some setbacks
The property comes as advertised: a nicely reconverted farm that offers privacy. Most of your local activities will require a +20mn drive (beach, shopping, restaurants). Because the dwelling is bordered by a sheep farm, you need to open & close gates to get in/out. This also means that you have to constantly deal with flies. This was too much for us and had to have our meals inside. Overall appliances worked but are throwbacks and not great quality. Management was responsive when issues arose.

Das Objekt wird von einer Agentur Slowvillas betreut. Der Schlüssel muss in Palma im Agenturbüro abgeholt werden.
Der Schotterweg zur Villa ist grenzwertig. Ohne einen SUV kann es anstrengend werden.
Das Haus ist leider in einem abgewohnten Zustand. Die Bettbezüge waren nicht gereinigt und wiesen Gebrauchsspuren auf. Die Betten waren alt und abgenutzt. Die Möbel im Außenbereich waren zu 60 % defekt. Der Pool war nicht gereinigt. Am Boden waren Sand und Dreck zu erkennen. Wir kontaktierten die Agentur am 1. Tag. Am Folgetag kam ein Pool Reiniger und stellte die Pumpe an. Es wurde noch mehr Chlor in den Pool gekippt. Der Pool war folglich bis zum Ende des Urlaubs nicht zu gebrauchen. Das Wasser war trüb und es stank nach Chlor.
Sorry wir können diese Objekt nicht weiterempfehlen.
