Great Rustic Cabin!

The location, wildlife and accommodations are ideal for a family wishing to reconnect and have their pets with them. We really enjoyed our stay and were able to reconnect as a family. We. Loved seeing all the wildlife around.

We enjoyed our stay at Lewis Lodge. House was very clean, the king bed was very comfortable, the porches were nice to sit out & enjoy the fresh air. Got to see deer & wild horses from porch! Kitchen was well equipped. House had everything we needed.

Comfy Ruidoso Cabin

My husband and I really enjoyed staying in this cabin for a week in August. We sat on the back porch with coffee and the hummingbirds in the morning and on the front porch, for the sunrise, and every evening. The living room was spacious with leather furniture and throws for chilly evenings and the air conditioning was welcome on a couple of warm days. The king bed was very comfortable, the kitchen well equipped for our needs, and the bathroom worked well for us with plenty of hot water and water pressure. The driveway is a little tricky so we decided to park in the space up top and walk up and down the nice steps beside the driveway. We enjoyed the town and all the scenery in every direction we drove. The location is convenient and quiet with greenery all around. We would definitely stay here again! Austin, TX

We would definitely stay here again and recommend this place to anyone. It was exactly as described and in a quiet location close to town with beautiful views. We even walked to town every day. The place was also very clean and had anything we could have needed for our stay.

Great place!

Very nice place and lived up to the billing. A bit of a problem with starting the fireplace, but to say the least the owner got immediately back to us with a solution. If it's snowy or icy I recommend parking at the top hill as provided.

October stay

The property is explained well in the description. However, we did have trouble getting into the property. Michael called us but it took about 10 min or so. The fire place is gas and did not work. The shower curtain rod fell down and come to find out it was duct taped so the expandable rod didn't work. I don't care about the curtain rod although it was a pain and was put back up. I did rent the cabin specifically for the fire place and that didn't work. So over all not a bad place. It was nice and clean.

Beautiful cabin in a nice forest setting. It is very well furnished, especially the kitchen.

Wonderful Place!

This was a delightful stay for my husband and I. We loved the place and how comfortable it was. Very clean and really nice. The covered deck is great even when it’s raining. Our next trip to Ruidoso we hope to book here.

Peace and relaxation!

We came to Ruidoso to escape the Texas heat. We love the cool temps and fresh air. It was so relaxing to sit on the back porch and watch the wildlife. The cabin was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The three of us enjoyed playing cards. We didn’t need to watch TV!

This property was everything we could have asked for! The only problem we had is that when we were looking for the cabin, we were looking for a green cabin as is shown in the picture. Once we found it, we were pleasantly surprised! Great decor and it was very clean!!! Thank you to the owners for their hospitality!!!

Ruidoso Spendor!

Thank you Mike and Monica for making our trip to Ruidoso so amazing! This home is set in a spectacular natural location overlooking the canyon from both decks. You will wake up to deer and elk grazing right next to the house and over 200 species of birds singing. If you are into stargazing, the sky here at night is extremely dark so the cosmos is crystal clear. Now about the house itself, it is beautifully decorated with tasteful art and cozy leather furnishings. We found the king bed very comfy and kitchen nicely equipped with everything you would ever need. There is a cozy loft perfect for kids and both bedrooms are quite roomy with lot's of closet space. The home is a very short drive down to the main street of Ruidoso with amazing shops and restaurants. The people we met were so nice and friendly. Be sure you leave time to make the short drive up to Grindstone lake for a hike. There is a gorgeous well maintained trail that goes all the way around the lake with tons of wildflowers everywhere. Ruidoso is a little paradise and staying in Lewis Lodge makes this place simply magical! Thank you again Mike and Monica for the amazing memories ❤ ♥ 💙 Doug and Pam Cummings
