Great Experience !

We loved our stay at the cabin and the location was amazing too! The cabin is very big, each room is great too, so I can totally see three couples renting it and no one being upset with the bedroom. All beds are very comfy! I loved the couch, the reclining seats were beyond enjoyable! I loved the porch and watching the sunset too ! The location is great, it was very quiet, so much wild life and yet 5-10 mins from everywhere we went. The cabin didn’t appear to be affected by fire or flushing as well. The only thing I wish was improved - more large plates and salad/soup bowls. There definitely was not enough. Also on the pictures it seemed the cabin was more secluded from other cabins around: that was not the case. There are cabins all over , yes there is space in between so you feel private enough, yet not private enough for your dog to run around while you grill outside let’s say. Yet there doesn’t seem to be cabins with more space in Ruidoso, all cabins are either on taht distance from each other or standing right next door, so I think we got a good deal here. Was still pretty private. If you want to get a good sound of land to yourself only, Alto is probably a better location. To wrap- the place is awesome, views were great, the stay was amazing and I miss it already! Thank you!

Get Away

My wife and I care for my 97 yr old father. We needed some time away by ourselves and this fit the bill perfectly. Quiet neighborhood, close to shopping and a very relaxing environment.

Cozy

The location of this cabin is magnificent! Saw deer and elk every day we were there. We enjoyed evening walks around the neighborhood. The cabin, itself, is big and beautiful but definitely needs new carpet (there's an odor) and some updating. My daughters very much appreciated the gift bag of goodies so a big thank you for that! We had everything we needed and the check in and check out process was easy peasy!

Nice cabin

Overall the cabin cute but it could use some upgrades. The carpet needs to be replaced or in the very least a deep shampoo cleaning. There were stains on the carpet throughout the house and it looks very old. One of the mattresses downstairs had a large hole on the side of it like it had been burned by a cigarette or something. This cabin has so much potential but it is very outdated. We loved the deck and we were able to see deers and enjoy the outdoors.

Good location — needs a little love

Nice home ….living room sofa wonderful…only six can eat at table but 3 could eat at bar however the kitchen doesn’t have enough dishes for a weekend as you have to wash after every meal. Cookware scarce also. The linens were horrible…cheap cheap towels only 2 wash cloths per bathroom. When you spend the weekend you don’t want to have to do laundry. One of the beds appeared to be dirty and the sheets had not been changed.

Nice Little Hideaway

We enjoyed our stay here (family of 4) - it could use a bit of updating, but everything was clean and well-maintained, great location, nice views and friendly mule deer to watch while drinking the morning cup of coffee. Internet worked great (kids approved!) and liked that it was close to town with all the stores and restaurants needed, but still far enough out to feel like you’re away from it all.
