Location was on mountain side, rooms was awesome and the view of mountains surrounding the inn...
The hotel was mostly empty, yet the staff shoved everyone on the first floor. There was a party held in the breakfast dining area and the sound carried through the mostly uncarpeted 1st floor hallway as the partygoers ran up and down the halls. The staff did not intervene on behalf of the paying hotel guests. My room was next to housekeeping. In the morning they staged all their carts and bins all around my door. I could barely get in and out of the room. The room itself was large, but everything was rundown. There were holes in the curtains, patches on the walls, random nails and rubber cord covers… kind of a mess. The bathroom worked, but the tub filled with water during my shower and the toilet ran constantly. The bed might have been comfortable, but there were so many layers of extra heat retaining pads on top, it was hard to get comfortable. The pillows all felt like bags filled with pebbles. I’ve stayed in lots of places from cheap motels to 5-star resorts. This is by far one of the worst. There are several lodging options in the area. Make this one your last choice.
Quite location
It was clean easy access. Not alot of traffic Close to town
No breakfast items of any kind yet there was a sign saying there was breakfast. Also, the bathtub did not drain properly.
Staff is very friendly. Rooms are very clean. Very quiet atmosphere the breakfast is delicious too. Very easy access to Ruidoso main street, stores and casinos.
Breakfast was good and the room was clean. Didn’t like the outdoor pool. Looked like it wasn’t maintained. Didn’t like that one of the exterior doors to the first floor was not properly secured/locked. A rock was used to keep door from shutting.
