We are offering this charming, light-filled flat for rent in Rouen. It measures 60 m² and can accommodate up to 6 guests. Situated on the 2nd floor (no lift), it comprises a lovely 25 m² living room, a fully equipped kitchen, two beautiful bedrooms and a bathroom. Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are included – we’re just waiting for you!

The accommodation is laid out as follows:
- A 25 m² living room with a TV, a double sofa bed and a dining area
- A separate fitted kitchen featuring: an electric kettle, oven, microwave, toaster, hob and a Senseo pod coffee machine…
- Bedroom 1: 1 double bed (140x190)
- Bedroom 2: 1 double bed (140x190)
- A shower room
- A separate toilet

For even greater comfort, the owners have decided to invest in the following additional equipment: washing machine, fan, ironing board and iron.

The flat is situated in the heart of Rouen’s historic centre. You’ll be within easy reach of all essential shops, as well as boutiques, La Bohème (formerly Europe’s oldest dance hall, open from Wednesday to Saturday), restaurants and bars...
As a result, some noise may occasionally be heard in the evening.

Things to do:
The historic capital of Normandy, nicknamed the ‘city of a hundred bell towers’, Rouen is a fascinating city. With its extraordinary architectural and religious heritage, it’s no surprise that it has been designated a ‘City of Art and History’! It’s a good idea to take a stroll through the picturesque old town, with its cobbled streets lined with old half-timbered houses. As you wander, you’ll discover extraordinary monuments such as Notre-Dame Cathedral, a masterpiece of Gothic art built in the 12th century. It was built on the foundations of a 4th-century building which still houses the bishop’s palace and the tombs of the Dukes of Normandy. At 151 metres high, its spire is the tallest in France!

Transport:
If you choose to come by car, you can park for free near the accommodation.
- Free car parks: Ile Lacroix (on-street parking, 1 km from the flat) or Place du Boulingrin (large square, 1.2 km from the flat).
- Pay-and-display car parks: The nearest to the flat are the Hôtel de Ville car park (300 m) and the Cathedrale car park (500 m).
- Every vehicle driving in Rouen must have a Crit’Air sticker. You can order it online at www.certificat-air.gouv.fr for €3.72 per vehicle. Driving or parking without a sticker is punishable by a fine of 68 euros.
- Amandus is situated in the medieval centre. Access by car is only possible via a one-way route between 7.00 am and 11.00 am. This is complicated and not recommended. We advise you to use the nearby car parks mentioned above.
- If you have an electric car, parking is free, but you must register in advance on the website www.payermonstationnement.fr and provide the necessary documents. You must download the app beforehand.
- On-street parking: the historic centre (where Amandus is located) is largely pedestrianised. However, there are plenty of on-street parking spaces within a few minutes’ walk of the flat. Parking is free every evening from 7.00 pm until 9.00 am the following morning, and free all day on Sundays.

As for other modes of transport, here is some information that you may find useful:
- Nearest railway station: Rouen station, approximately 10 minutes away by public transport and 10 minutes by car.
- Nearest airport: Rouen-Vallée de Seine Airport, approximately 25 minutes away by car.

- Pets are not permitted in the accommodation.
- End-of-stay cleaning includes preparing the property for future guests. Please leave it in a reasonably clean condition:
(remove the bed linen, wipe down and put away any crockery used, empty any full bins, and clean kitchen appliances after use)
