We booked a 2 night stay between Christmas and New Years for a family wedding. The rooms were small but adequate, comfy beds and nice shower. The location was ideally central. Reception were nice and helpful with recommending shops and arranging taxis. We didn’t eat breakfast but had late snacks in the bar. These were good when available. We were disappointed to find both food and drink stopped at midnight. The family had 3 rooms booked which included a suite for the bride and groom and we asked if we could have the food as room service but this was not an option and the drinks vending machine was out of order and the mini bar empty.

We came on the recommendation of a friend and enjoyed our stay. The room, while quite small was sufficient for two people. It was spotless and had a great view over the harbour from the Erasmusbrug to the Maritime Museum. It was warm with blackout blinds that really worked. The glazing also works well keeping out the noise outside. The bathroom/shower were excellent and the toiletries supplied were ample. The bar doesn't have a great range of beers but is a nice place to watch the world go by. I found the staff to be excellent when we were checking in/out and at the bar. There is a tram stop outside and you are a few minutes walk from Witte where there are many bars and restaurants. It's a great location. There is an empty minibar in the room and a vending machine at reception you can fill it from. At minibar prices. There is tea/coffee in the room. However, the cups are paper which I'm surprised at. I thought they would be more environmentally friendly. Similarly, the glasses in the bathroom are plastic and changed every day. This is a minor gripe, though. We stayed over the New Year period and had a great view of the National Fireworks on the bridge. I'd be happy to stay here again and recommend the hotel.

Not sure why this hotel cost 150 Euro a night but it is very overpriced. The good: panorama rooms, although incredibly small, have a nice view of the Erasmus Bridge. The breakfast is good and even includes make-it-yourself mimosas (or did when we were there). The bad: The pool and spa area is a complete dirty mess. The entire area looked liked it had been ransacked. There were wet towels everywhere. We were a bit surprised but went for a swim anyway. We dutifully took showers and got in the pool. The water was just dirty: murky and white. There were two couples making out in the pool and people tried to actually swim around them. My short-haired Scandinavian spouse got out of the pool and had long, black hair on his hands. It was disgusting. We realized we didn't bring towels - the large space in the pool area where they keep them was completely empty - from the room and there were no clean towels, so we rang housekeeping on the spa phone and asked if we could get some. 1/2 hour later there was nothing so we went down the elevator in wet suits and bare feet. People on the elevator stared at us like we were idiots and one staff member even said, OH, SORRY. We set it aside, showered in our room and decided to use the drink coupon that came in our hotel package. BIG MISTAKE. We went downstairs and went to sit - the front area is relatively small and people were seated everywhere, and one of the wait staff literally yelled at us that we needed to move and sit at the bar if we wanted to use the coupon. Frankly, we just thought to heck with this and left. Still a bit amazed. The ugly: The entrance is confusing. Most people go through a narrow staircase from the restaurant. The furniture shows wear and tear and the rooms are incredibly small. In all fairness, the hotel did give us a 15% discount after I complained, and offered to upgrade if we came back (not sure what that would be - we were already in one of the most expensive rooms) but really, this place is just not worth it. Two thumbs way down.

We stayed at this hotel in Rotterdam between Christmas and New Years and we had a great experience. Check-in was quick and everything was explained clearly. We had booked the "a surprise for you" package which just meant we received a complimentary cocktail at the bar. Nothing mind blowing but a nice gesture. The room was clean and comfortable. We had a view of the bridge and the water, which we liked very much. The room came with bathrobes and slippers. The breakfast buffet was nice. There weren't enough seats for everyone though, which meant long lines for the coffee machine. Apparently every guest came down to breakfast at the same time. The staff handled the crowed very well. No complaints here. The staff overall was super friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is great, especially because we had rental bikes and could get everywhere quickly.

Honestly I am bit surprised by the quality of the hotel. I think it is expensive for what you have. I have been in different types of hotels but here i find prices very excessive.. The bathrobe for spa you have to rent it. The room is very small. Toilets aren't so clean, specially the wc .. (it's black inside ) very old stuff that can be changed. You have no slippers in the room. The hotel has no parking. No double beds for us so not very comfortable. The only thing why we chose this hotel was only for the swimming pool but i won't come back. Usually I go to better hotels but with this one I am a bit deceived with its cleanliness. Thank you.

There wasn't anything exciting about this hotel but it was very nice, food was good and it was comfortable. The room was small and the bathroom was tiny. We were not spending any time in the room so it was fine, but if one was to spend some time relaxing in room it was a bit claustrophobic. The breakfast buffet was really good and restaurant food was tasty. Weather was cold and dull so that didn't help so street view wasn't that interesting.

Excellent stay, wonderfull staff! Special thanks to Susanti for showing us some great restaurants and Roland for his great service during breakfast. Would stay here again if I'm in town again. Thanks for the great service!

The hotel location is super, with Metro and tram stations just on the outside, at walking distance of the heart of the city and the interesting area just south of the giant Erasmus bridge. The entry of the hotel is a bit dark, a feature I really dislike: all this so called coziness. Wrong design. And the breakfast entry is practically all dark. Must not be a pleasant site to work. But OK, the hotel is fine, the room a bit small and, staying for a couple of days, I missed a well-designed cupboard to store my shirts and other clothing. Fortunately there were two chairs, the beds were fine and it was clean. Wifi is free and fine, and there is a safe and also tea and coffee facility. Friendly staff all over. Good wellness facility. Breakfast OK, good bread indeed. So, do not hesitate to book.

Quite nice hotel in an exciting area, rooms with nice view to the maritime museum and Erasmus bridge. Service-minded personnel and good breakfast. Rooms are ok but a bit worn. However, an acceptable price-level made the total experience good.

We have stayed at this hotel twice while visiting family and will be back twice again before Christmas and then for four days over Christmas holiday with other family members. Ideally located and good quality rooms and friendly staff. Very clean and enjoyable breakfast terrace overlooking waterway. Looking forward to returning, just hoping availability is there when we need to book. (Our daughter is expecting our first grandchild so cannot exactly plan dates of next two visits although one will be for two weeks duration)
