We booked a panorama room for 3 nights over the Easter weekend. Our room was 706, which overlooked the Erasmus bridge. We enjoyed the view every morning with our morning coffee and evening wine. It was better than any restaurant view in the area. The spa facilities are very nice as is the pool. The gym equipment is very limited and the gym space is extremely small. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was about a 25 minute walk from Rotterdam Central Station. The bed was firm and comfortable. The bathroom had a nice deep tub and a separate shower. Also an in room safe was a nice addition. We were very happy with the room.
Perfect located in the center of rotterdam. Perfect for meeting and courses, in the top floor. Good breakfast and placed in the middel of town. You can walk to almost anything in the city from here. Or ylu can rent a bike and take on the town on the seat.
First of all - location in very comfortable - near the Erasmus bridge, public transport station, supermarket, 10min walk to the Witt street. The room is normal 4* hotel room, cleanliness 100percent, comfortable beds. But the best thing is BREAKFAST - it is 5*+ style, even with champagne and freshly squeezed orange juice, so you could start your day with a beautiful view to Mass river besides your feet and Mimoza cocktail in your hand :) Also, the spa with a big pool is a very nicve addition, working till late. Staff is exceptional also! All in all - perfect hotel!
Very bad service and poor hôtel in general! I'll never come back here again! Good the location but the place is quite cheap to be a 4 star hotel. From internet you immagine big Space for the SPA ... which is very Small ! You Can smell all the odours from the restaurant.... very disgusting!!!!
The personnel was very nice, we had a room had a beautiful view (from 14th floor) and sauna in the room. The hotel has a swimming pool at 8th floor and a very small gym. The restaurant in the ground floor serves good food. Overall it was a pleasant stay and for sure I will come back.
Just returned from a nice stay at the Inntel Hotel Rotterdam. Arrived just after 4.15pm and attempted to check in. Was told by the Receptionist that our room wasn’t ready, and wouldn’t be ready for another 30 mins but we were welcome to have a complimentary drink at the bar. A little bit annoying as check in was supposed to be from 3pm onwards but appreciated the offer of a drink while we waited. Once the 30 mins was up we were invited to go straight to the room. The room was really nice and spacious with a large comfy bed. The shower is powerful and our bathroom included both a bath and a separate shower which was great. Tea and coffee making facilities were fine….but no water to fill the kettle with. View from the window overlooking the water was really nice. Cleaning of the room was good and quite prompt. We went down for breakfast on the first morning and there was a buffet on offer. As my husband was there for the marathon he was trying to carb load for a few days before so there was cereal and some fruit for him but sadly no porridge. There was toast and croissants available for me. Unfortunately we weren’t made aware that breakfast was chargeable it was a bit of a shock to see a 47 euro per day bill for that as we were leaving. Most expensive bowl of cereal, toast and croissant we have ever had. Especially as I didn’t think it was as clean and tidy as it should have been for that price. I believe the charge should have been made clear to us when checking in but maybe we should have asked also. On the morning of the marathon the restaurant for breakfast was incredibly busy throughout the morning and seating was very limited. There were lots of plates and bowls left on tables that weren’t cleared away quickly so you ended up sitting at dirty tables with old food and cutlery around you. After my husband had competed the marathon we came back to the hotel to get showered etc. and then once were ready to head out we went down to Reception to book a water taxi to see some of Rotterdam from the water. We were told to wait by the docks for 20 minutes and our taxi would arrive. 40 minutes later we were still sitting there and no taxi arrived. I know marathon day was busy and it was nice weather but was a bit rude to not even show up or call us to let us know of the delay. We just left and walked around. Whilst at the hotel my husband used the swimming pool and sauna which he advised were very good and clean. Not too busy either. If you want a nice lunch/dinner that’s a bit different head to Vessel 11 which is a 5 minute walk from the hotel. It’s a large red boat that does amazing food and drinks. The staff are all really friendly and helpful and very efficient. Do not go to Fellini’s to eat. Got shown to a table with no menus or even cutlery on it. Took 20 minutes to get a menu after I had to get up and ask for one. Another 10 minutes for someone to take our order and even offer us a drink. Another 10 for those drinks to arrive. Then after another 30 minute wait to check how long a Pizza and Gnocchi would be, we were told they were so busy (the restaurant was half full as there were still tables dotted around that were free) and this food would take at least another 30 minutes but we could have a drink on the house! We decided to leave as 2 glasses of water and a 7up in the 1½ hours we had been sitting there didn’t really seem fair. I personally think the waiters forgot about us and didn’t put our order in. We kept noticing various tables sending food away that they hadn’t ordered so it’s a shambles. For a nice day out head to the zoo which is easily accessible by the E metro train that you can pick up outside the hotel. It’s about 23 euros each but you could easily spend the day here as it’s huge and there are plenty of places to eat and drink. None of the exhibits ever seemed too crowded either so you can easily see the animals. All in all we had a nice stay at the hotel but don’t think I would come back.
We visited Rotterdam at the end of March for my birthday and snatched again at the Inntel Hotel, we where again not disappointed. On this occasion we opted for a high floor panoramic room (we usually book a suite (which are lovely) and we where not disappointed as the view is fantastic from the room, it's clean and fitted out with everything we really needed. Cannot fault the service we received and I was especially surprised and pleased to receive a lovely note from the reception staff wishing me a happy birthday and a little box of chocolates when we came back to the room one evening, a very thoughtful touch. I wouldn't hesitate to book again.
The location is great - few minutes walk to central areas, the market etc. But it's an odd hotel - the walls are thin and outside noise is clear as anything throughout the stay. Service is abrupt - found it hard it to be a grilling just to check in and check out. It's good price stay, but feels like the hotel is just made out of shopping containers thus the rooms are very cramped.
Friendly service and comfortable room with nice view over the water. Loved the facilities in particular the swimming pool and enjoyed some very relaxing time in Spa Heaven, staff and other people all very friendly in there. Would definitely come back given the chance.
This hotel was a very good surprise! It is amazingly well located, close to restaurants and museums, and most importantly with a fantastic view to the river. The rooms, are very comfortable, with a very nice bathroom and ammenities. The breakfast, though expensive, is very good. It has a big variety of fruits, great breads, and crunchy bacon. Champagne included! And finally, the sauna and pool are great plus!
