I stayed here for 2 weeks March/April 2018 whilst my husband was in a Rotterdam hospital. I know that after 2 weeks I had a good “feel “ for the place. Great location right on the river/marinas - less than 10 mins walk into the centre and right outside a metro station. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, unhurried dining room with a fantastic breakfast selection. Lovely informal evening eaterie - try the gnocchi - so creamy , delicious and well priced. You must visit the relaxing spa/pool area. The best thing about the hotel - the staff - just great!!!
The hotel was clean and the beds comfortable, but given the price point I’d expect better bathroom accommodations. The toilet faced the shower wall and was so close that it was very difficult to sit down, much less stand up. The shower leaked water all over the floor and was tricky to step into because the sides were so high and there was minimal hand rails to assist, stepping into the tub or stepping out again, given the now wet and slippery floor. Also the lighting by the bed was weak for in-bed reading and the lighting in the bathroom was not well planned: no light for “throne reading” and putting on make up in the mirror isn’t easy because of glare from spot lights. Young and healthy knees, eyes and balance reactions may be happier here.
My comments should be read in light of the fact that I paid over €200 per night (plus 3.5% city tax). I booked a so-called “suite” but when we saw the room, it was a largish room sure but not a suite. Suite means a distinct sleeping and living zone, ideally with a sofa, and they are misusing the word suite in my opinion. I would also have liked to be on a higher floor with a view, but there was nothing available higher. The pool was not working one day that we were here, which was disappointing as we chose this hotel over another one because of the pool. Some minor issues with the room: the bathtub and shower were small and there were two lights which we couldn’t work out how to switch off without unplugging them. No parking, but a public car park very close. Positive points: breakfast is good (they have sparkling wine which I never saw anywhere else.). Good location, on the water but with a metro and tram station outside the door. It’s not a bad hotel. It all depends what you pay, and I paid way too much for what I got.
We stayed for a day in one of the suites, complete with an in-room sauna and a whirlpool. The view on the Erasumus bridge was absolutely stunning, by day and night. Staff was friendly, especially the staff serving breakfast. Great breakfast as well. Check-out at noon, which gave us plenty of time for both breakfast and another round of sauna. Would definitely book again.
I visited this hotel in hopes to be welcomed and made to feel at home. The ladies on the reception were exceptionally rude and were not helpful at all. They downgraded me from the room I paid for without my knowledge and then told me that all their rooms were fully booked. They refused to offer any compensation. Avoid by all means! The nhow hotel is just over the bridge and is a much nicer hotel!
I travel to Rotterdam frequently for business. My first choice for accommodation was this hotel and I never regretted cause this is the perfect choice. People who work here are always kind, polite and professional. They offer different advantages for frequent guests and you can personalize your stay to make it feel like you are home. The breakfast is great, location is perfect, rooms are nice and clean. Recommendation to everyone!
I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. I love the location, the view from 16th floor is really breathtaking. You can see the beautiful Erasmus bridge and the surroundings. The room was really comfortable, so was the bed and the hot shower. Breakfast and lunch were very good too.
Went for new year eve, that was great for the fireworks view of the bridge. Dinner was regular / good. The room suite was sold for a family with 2 kids but we had only a family bed and another bed for 1 kid. We had to discuss a while to receive another kid bed (they proponed us to sleep with our kid). With the second kid bed the room was leaking space. I definitively recommend this hotel and new year eve there, but maybe better without kids.
Me & my Wife stayed at the inntel hotel for my birthday weekend,Lovely hotel fantastic location, reception staff was very friendly and helpful,we stayed in a Harbour view room, which was perfect, breakfast was plentiful and delicious, hot & cold selection even champagne. Loved Rotterdam & will be back, thanks to all the staff at the inntel hotel.
Stayed on the 3rd floor which was fine noise-wise. The room was very basic, no shelves or drawers to unpack, only hangers. Paper cups and no milk/cream for hot drinks which was a bit odd. One day after coming back from work my window had been last open by the cleaners so it was freezing, but soon warmed up with the heater. Used the pool once, while small it is nice & clean and perfect temperature. Breakfast was fine with hot & cold options. Staff on reception & in the bar/restaurant were friendly and helpful. Location was fantastic for getting around Rotterdam and so close to some great places to eat.
