5 minute walk from the train / bus station. Also an easy, short walk to the old part of town, crossing the old and charming, wooden covered bridge. Clean, bright, large room and bath. Even though it was near the train tracks, the heavy windows did an excellent job of blocking the noise. The included breakfast was quite nice, with warm eggs and bacon which we had not found in other hotels on our trip. Lots of cheeses, breads, cold cuts, cereals, yogurts and custom brewed coffee. The beds were comfortable although they did not have the big, fluffy pillows and comforters that we found in smaller hotels in Switzerland. Did not have washcloths (which is typical of Swiss hotels) nor a clock in the room. This is also, strangely, typical of Swiss hotels... the land of clocks. Go figure!
Travelled to Basel for a carnival. Excellent option to stay overnight + park a car. Close to Basel. Very functional. Would recommend for any traveller with a car.
