Great guesthouse we were pleasant suprised when we opened the frontdoor! So beautiful and cosy authentic hallway! It's so different than the big hotels. It made our stay different in a good way!! The staff was super friendly and very helpfull. The only critisism I have is the busy road with the impatient Italian cardrivers, but that's normal when you are in the city center and everything is nearby! I recommend this guesthouse!
My partner and I have just returned from a 3 night stay at this hotel. We booked a suite room. On arrival we were picked up by the taxi driver that the hotel had arranged for us (50 euros each way). When we arrived to check in we were greeted by a lovely lady at reception who showed us to our room and gave us an overview of the main attractions in Rome. Location: The location was good, very close to the colosseum (5 min walk) - not very many restaurants around we found. But it was nice to go for a little walk to try and find some places to eat. We paid for the hop on hop off bus tour which was great, it took you to all of the main sites in Rome. Room: We booked a suite online - on arrival we were shown to our room. We had a separate living and bedroom area. The only letdown we had was the bathroom - it was very long and narrow. We had to squeeze past each other if we wanted to walk past each other whilst in there. After paying the extra money for a suite room we were expecting a lot more from the bathroom, we had a tiny little square shower that you could hardly turn around in without hitting something. I had looked at some of the pictures on here of the bathrooms before we booked and they all look loads bigger than the one we had. Other than that it was all fine, the bed was comfy, TV worked fine etc. Overall, we had a brilliant stay at the hotel, we would definitely return but may ask for a room with a larger bathroom next time! If you're considering going to Rome do it, you won't regret it!!
We stayed for a week in a very nice room, clean, air conditioned and quiet, with nice large bed and a coffee and croissants for breakfast provided by friendly staff at the cafe below the hotel. Everyone was helpful and pleasant. The location is superb, being just 500 m from the Colosseum metro station, giving easy access to Rome and all of its attractions.
My friend and I stayed here for 2 nights. We had a double room which was very clean and modern, air conditioned, hot water with excellent pressure, safe, tv, good wifi and comfortable beds. The staff were wonderful, very helpful and accomodating. The location was fantastic, right around the corner from the coloseum and walking distance from all main attractions. There is a small cafe below the building for a convenient breakfast and coffee.
My partner and I recently stayed at this hotel on our trip to Rome and we absolutely loved it. The staff stayed there late so that they could check us in and we did not feel rushed at all. The gentleman that checked us in gave us lots of information about Rome and the best places to visit etc. We were then showed to our room which to my surprise had rose petals, fresh fruit and a bottle of prosecco in there waiting for us - PERFECT! The room itself was a nice size and very clean with a comfortable bed and air conditioning. The room was serviced to a high standard each day. The only thing that the room was lacking is a full length mirror so that we could get ready in the room as opposed to the bathroom (there are mirrors on the back wall of the room however you are unable to use them to get ready as they're obstructed by large bedside lights/headboard) The location for the hotel is wonderful. Literally just a stone throw away from the colosseum with a wide range of cafe's/restaurants close by. You hear very little road noise from the hotel despite being near a main road. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Rome! Thank you to the staff for being so welcoming throughout our visit.
I needed room for one night with a good location, so I did not expect too much. But from the moment when I came I realize that Relais has everything. Room is clean like you are in the pharmacy and the staff is very polite...
This hotel is just perfect for a stay in Rome. It's perfectly located; just a few minutes walk from the Colleseum and Metro and the tram and bus stop is right outside. There restaurants in the area have a really local vibe and are really reasonably priced despite being near the Collesseum (just go to the back streets rather than right by the Collesseum). The hotel itself is really clean, comfortable and quiet and Vicky gave us a very warm greeting and took the time to show us all the hot spots on a map and was helpful throughout our stay.
My partner & I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights this week - location is perfect as it's only a 2 minute walk from the Colosseum. The service was wonderful, with a full explanation about our stay. The large double room was very spacious, with an area to hang clothes, a sofa, tv, safe, fridge and kettle. The bed was comfortable - slept very well every night. The bathroom was also large, which also included a hairdryer (p.s just to let you know in room 3 the shower head needs adjusting, you cannot keep on bracket and wash hair). Hotel overall was very clean, our room was cleaned daily. I have read some reviews previously about it being quite noisy, although this wasn't a problem for us. The lady at the reception also allowed us to leave our bags after check out (10.30am) till around midday which really was helpful for us. This hotel is approximately around 20 minute walk from Termini station. I highly recommend this hotel due to excellent service, cleanliness and the location. Would definitely visit this hotel again.
I traveled to Rome a number of times and this was absolutely the best stay!! The staff were super friendly and helpful, rooms were really comfortable and had everything you'd need, the location was unbeatable (super location), there was a bus station across the hotel and a metro station 200 meters from the hotel and rooms were really clean. Briefly, value to money was great and I'm definitely going back for my next stay...
We stayed in the suite for 4 nights. It was nice and clean with daily room cleaning. When we checked in Vicky gave us a lot of recommendations for places to visit and pointed out train stations (the closest train station was about a 7 minute walk!). The staff arranged for us to have to have an Italian breakfast at the shop that was no more than 5 steps away from the hotel. The staff at the shop was extremely friendly. When we were leaving we saw the owner who came to shake our hands and wish us safe travels. Overall, very pleased with the stay. Perfect for a travelling couple.
