Staying at Suite Life Trevi Guest House felt like living inside a postcard! You’re literally steps away from the Trevi Fountain—so close you can hear the water at night. The location couldn’t be better: surrounded by amazing restaurants, cute gelato shops, and chic little boutiques on every corner. The room was clean, stylish, and surprisingly quiet for being right in the heart of Rome. The staff were super friendly and helpful, making check-in a breeze and giving great local tips. It’s the kind of place that makes you fall in love with the city all over again.

The property is located just off of the Trevi Fountain. As a result, there is some noise outside. Overall, it did interfere with our sleep or enjoyment of the room. If you need a quiet location, this property would not be my first choice. The location, however, was perfect, and the staff very attentive.

Very comfortable and spacious, air conditioned room. The location is perfect; only 20 feet from the Trevi fountain. The rooms are on the second floor and there are no elevators. Simone helped and carried the luggage upstairs. The view of our room was to the alley with shops and restaurants. There is a kitchen on the floor that has espresso machine, refrigerator and some snacks. I would definitely recommend this location to friends.

Wonderful Hotel in the Historic Center of Rome

The SuiteLife Trevi is a Guest House that is located in the historic center of Rome. Only pedestrian traffic is allowed on the street and you are only 50 ft from the Trevi Fountain. Other iconic historic landmarks are only a 10-15 minute walk from this hotel. There are good restaurants within a very short walk - one I liked was located only 10 steps from the front door! The staff were very helpful and pleasant. They also offer (for a fee) a driver to pick you up from the FCO Airport. I thoroughly enjoyed this hotel and would definitely stay here again. Note: the rooms are located on a second and third floor, and there is no elevator. Front Desk services are limited - not on premises at all times.

A Spartan Room in Rome

We returned to Rome for an extra day to recover from a 10-day cruise. The hotel was a bit hard to find. But once inside, we walked up several stairs to get to our rooms so we could check in. While the hotel is very old (as is much in Rome), our room had been remodeled. Though in Rome, our rooms seemed a bit Spartan, but the bed was comfortable, the bathroom had a marvelous shower, and both our room and the bathroom were very clean.

Overall the property was as I anticipated and suitable for our purposes. The room was spacious and the shower was one of the largest of the hotel/BnBs that we stayed in (4 properties over 16 days) Italy and the separate tub was a bonus (both in terms of length, depth, and comfort). The king size bed was a true king (not twins smashed together) and an extremely comfortable mattress. Pillows were questionable, but pillows were questionable everywhere we were. We stayed 4 nights here in Nov of '23 and it was becoming quite cold out. My only real issue was that the heater was abysmal and the property literally would not provide an extra blanket upon request. Instead, they advised us to "turn up the heat" which, again, did not work. Needless to say nights were cold making it difficult to sleep comfortably. Noise levels are high here (pretty much 24/7), but expected when you are practically sleeping in the Trevi fountain - you really are that close to it. The refrigerator was a nice addition to the room and would've been great... had it actually worked. If your objective is to be in the middle of all sites Rome and eady access to the Metro rail and buses (less than 10 min walk) ... this is a good spot. If you are seeking a more quite and staff catering experience then best to look on.

We really enjoyed our stay. Leo was so welcoming and helpful. So kind. The room is somewhat small, but the bed was huge and really comfortable! We slept so well! The AC was on when we arrived and our room was a good retreat from Romes summer heat and humidity. If you go on the weekend, this is a really high tourist area and very crowded. The fountain is always busy and crowded. People party until late hours, including the occasional drunken fight and police being called. We like the noise and activity, so it was perfect for us. The room is somewhat soundproofed but not totally. It is on a pedestrian alleyway so expect to roll all your bags about a half block to one block on cobblestone after taxi drops you off. We loved it and will be back!
