This was close to the airport and the beach which was great! There was a common kitchen area available for use. We were disappointed with the stark, plain room and the bathroom was not the cleanest! We would probably not stay here again.

It was a cozy little bed and breakfast with a nice clean and modern comfortable room. We only needed one night close to the airport and this was a perfect spot. We could walk just a few minutes to a main road with lots of places to eat and have a drink. Also, there is a Conad grocery store only a 10 minute walk away. The staff member Alexandro was so great and made us feel so welcome.

We stayed altogether 2 nights before our cruise and one night after our cruise. We liked the location close to many restaurants and just walked across the canal bridge, you will find many good restaurants for dinners at reasonable prices. Close to airport but it was hard to find the shuttle at airport and take taxi costs about €35. All staff at La Lira provided us with good service.

Their employee went above and beyond when we called at 7:30am from the airport saying my husband had lost his passport she searched the room and didn’t find it. We were frantically t searching our bags at the airport and thinking we were going to have to go to embassy and beg for an emergency passport. She called us back to see if we had found it went back up to our room to look again I asked her to check bed we hadn’t used and by a miracle she found it she was waiting outside with it in her hand when my husband came roaring up in a cab. Then she called me to let me know my husband had just left with it in his hand. This would of never happened if we had stayed at a large hotel.We are going to try and get her name and send her something.

Close to Airport

We needed a one night stay close to airport as our flight was the following morning so this place was perfect! They have a shuttle service that was very easy to arrange. They have a complimentary breakfast but unfortunately our early flight didnt allow us to enjoy it. Very clean and very good communication response.
