We used the hotel as a base for our whistle stop 24 hour tour of Rome. It's very pleasant. The man on the front desk was lovely, very welcoming and helpful. Being able to leave our bags securely after check out was a plus. The room was fine, clean and tidy, it was cramped for four but we all had a proper bed and it was adequate for our short stay. I would definitely stay again.
While this hotel is older, it is nice. If you’re use to more of a modern hotel, this place isn’t for you as it’s an old hotel. While the beds and pillows were on the hard side, everything was clean, staff was nice, and breakfast was fine. The front desk even let us check in an hour early, which was much appreciated due to the fact that the shuttle bus driver who dropped us off, drove like a maniac, so I was car sick and needed to lay down! We had a room that overlooked the street in front of the hotel, so it was noisy at night if the window was open. They’ll hold your bags if you arrive early, or if you have a later flight or train. Train station is about a 10 minute walk which was very convenient! Also, the restaurant across the street from the hotel was amazing!!!
I haven’t been to other hotels in Rome so I may be comparing apples to oranges but compared to other place we have stayed in Italy this trip and in Europe on others, this place fall a little short. There is nothing bad to say except the shower is smaller than a cruise ship ( about 26 inches square). Simply the service is a bit less enthusiastic leaving one afraid to ask simple questions. Nothing rude but certainly not like other places I’ve been.
For the neighborhood near the Termini, it was probably one of the better hotels. It was clean, front desk was adequate. They never fixed our shower door, so constantly fought with that. Rooms are small, breakfast sufficient.
Stayed here one night due to travel delays. Our experience was very much at odds with many other reviews on here. On the plus side the location is good being a <10 minute level walk from the railway station. The hotel offers a left luggage room so you can leave your luggage before check in. The room was clean but only had one set of towels and a shortage of pillows. Was going to request more by phoning reception but there were no details of how to do this. In fact there was no information in the room whatsoever. A trip to Reception secured more linen. As others have mentioned, there is no kettle in the room which is disappointing in a hotel of this rating. There was a fridge with drinks to purchase. No water. The breakfast room is ridiculously small and cramped. We had to queue for 15 minutes for a seat. This meant standing in the queue as others also waiting and no staff yo supervise. There is very little circulation space and the whole experience uncomfortable. Perhaps it us relevant that the breakfast is described as "complimentary". Better it was included in the charge and why not use the lounge to seat guests comfortably?! All in all the experience was sadly not one we could recommend.
We stumbled on this hotel via a package deal - it was a great find. It isn't especially near any of the main attractions, but very close to a main station and also to the start point for the city bus tours. The woman who checked us in gave us lots of information and help to find our way around, marking some great view points on our map and giving advice about best times for the major attractions. The included breakfast was fine, though the space was cramped and a bit noisy when the room filled up. A big plus is being opposite a great traditional Italian restaurant, where we parted with just 42 euros for a great dinner, 2 large beers and a shared pudding. We went back a second time for lunch. Both the hotel and the independent restaurant were great value
The only good thing in this hotel is the staff . The location is not good and not safe at night. Also the hotel does not worth 3 stars. I. Fact i have been many times to 3 stars hotels and most of them were better. The breakfast very poor and breakfast room so small that you cannot move inside.
Clean hotel and nice, the staff could be more friendly. The room was ok, we didn't stay too much in it so good. The location is perfect, 2 min to Termini station wich is very very helpful. You can leave your bags at them before check in and after check out, that day.
this property was great to start your rome adventure, central station was down the street and the hop on hop off buses were right there also. quite neighborhood that had a awesome pizzeria that we ate at twice. they had outdoor markets in the area. the property had a descent breakfast buffett as well.
Location was good, beds were hard and room extremely small. Tiny balcony was a bonus and no kettle or fridge, breakfast was ok but would be good to have hot food aswell. Staff were friendly enough, no problems.
