Me and my boyfriend slept here for six nights. From the outside the hotel looks very cozy. The hotel room, however, was anything but cozy. The rooms are very small and very badly planned. For example, if you want to enter the minibar, the door opens on the side of the cabinet while the chill door opens in another direction. Add to that the room feels very outdated and slightly untouched. There is an AC in the room where you can choose a temperature between 16-28 degrees. Too bad that AC did not work when the room was as hot no matter what temperature the AC was set to. I also doubt that there was working ventilation as the room quickly became acidic and confined. This meant that we always had to have the window open so as not to get a headache from too little oxygen. The bed is about 140 cm wide and incredibly uncomfortable. Expect backache after a night's sleep. The reason that the bed is uncomfortable is that it is too soft and that the bed is incredibly bumpy. As a result, I almost bumped out of bed when the boyfriend turned to sleep. I suspect that this is not really a proper bed, but rather the extraction on a sofa bed. In the bed there is also no real blanket, but there is only a bed sheet and felt felt fuzzy. In the shower was a string. However, there was no instruction whatsoever for the line. Me and my boyfriend ripped into the lace daily when we thought the lanyard was ready to put on the ventilation. On our sixth night at the hotel they rang from the lobby and wondered if we were doing well. It turned out that the line was meant to be used in acute illness or, for example, fell in the shower and could not get up on its own. This felt very unsafe as they did not react earlier when we safely pulled the string five times a day. The toilet bowl was placed on the wall. However, the spool button had started to loosen from the wall, which sometimes caused water to flow constantly in the toilet, and sometimes it was not possible to flush at all. Felt very disgusting when I had bait and it was not possible to flush. During the last night, our hotel room smelled strongly of ciggarette smoke. Turned out that the smoke smell came in through the ventilation in the bathroom. We ended up clogging the ventilator in the bathroom in order not to lie in a smoke cloud. However, the staff were friendly and helpful. If you are thinking of choosing this hotel, I strongly recommend that you consider it.
We thoroughly enjoyed staying here. The Staff were so nice and helpful. Our room, 401, was perfect. Lovely comfortable big bed. Even had its own terrace from where we could see the snowcapped mountains in the distance. Breakfast was more than you could wish for. Good location, close to Metro and great restaurants and shops. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you so much for making our time in Italy so enjoyable
I spent four nights with wife and two children. An elegant Hotel with spacious rooms (Junior Suite). Staff very helpful and professional. Breakfast well presented and delicious. Set in a relative quite area of Rome. A stone throw's away from Policlinico Metro Station.
The hotel was situated at a very convenient place and the food was so good. Even you can find many places for food near by and accessible to Termini- Rome withing 2 mins walk. We met a Sri lankan guy who works there and his service was very good.
I was There in may 19-21 with my wife for weekend , hotel is almost near the metro station approximately 2 min walking. Rooms are clear breakfeast is enough . A negative point stuff shoul be more helpfull
If you don't want to stay in the center of Rome, this hotel is a great location, close to the metro and tram station, very convenient. It's very easy to get to Termini (the main train station) and to anywhere in center. If you want to enjoy the nightlife without going back and forth, it might be worth staying in downtown. Hotel is nice, but very small room. We didn't stay there much (we were out exploring the city all day every day), so it didn't bother us.
Great little hotel. Steps away from the subway station which made it very easy to get around. I don't remember her name but there was a young blonde lady at the front desk who was extremely helpful during out stay. She would always great us with a smile and help us out. They offer a free breakfast which was phenomenal. Breakfast is on the 4th floor and its almost like a covered patio. Beautiful setting to start your day. Rooms were small by north american standards but seemed to be the norm in the places we stayed. Very clean. Would recommend staying here for the friendly staff, the fact that is a 2 min walk tot he subway and the great breakfast.
My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights. The room was small but ok. We checked out and accidentally left 3 items of clothing in our room. Realizing this we email the hotel a few times. We were told that nothing had been turned in, but check again. We have yet to hear back from Alessandro, who seemed to give the impression that it was a hassle to check for our items. This is unacceptable. I offered to pay for expenses associated with getting the items shipped to us. But once again it must be a hassle and never heard back. Never will return to this hotel!!
Stayed for 4 nights in a very small room (especially by American standards)with ensuite shower. The bathroom was bigger than the room. Having said that, it was comfortable. Close to policlinico metro station which is 2 stops from Rome Termini station. I recommend getting a 24/48/72 hr metro pass. Very good value. There is a water fountain just a few hundred yards away, a Tabecchi to get your metro pass and a supermarket and a pharmacy all on the same street. The wifi and breakfast were very good. There was a man serving breakfast whose name I can't recall (I'm so sorry) but he was just lovely. He made us Cappuccino every morning but by the end of our stay they had brought out a coffee machine which was not the same and we did not see him again. Please bring him back. Special thanks to Alessandro and Anna for all their help. In short a lovely place to stay, small but convenient. If you only have a few days in Rome you might want to stay a little more central, but if you have time this is a nice welcoming place to stay.
I was at Villa Morgani in late April 2017. It was in a convenient location, about 1 block away from Policlinico subway stop. The location made it easy to go visit the Roman sites and to travel to other cities by train. As I found my way to the hotel, the area seemed not very touristy. The street side of the villa could benefit from a touch up. After you pass the open gates, you walk a lovely driveway and you encounter aromatic trees and a fig tree. The reception is small but the staff was always very helpful. The small elevator took me to the room. Room was big considering european standards with classic design. Just the right amount of furniture to maximize functionality. The bathroom was big and clean as well, you just needed to take a big step to get into the bathtub/shower. I had a view to a terrace and the street. It was great to be able to breath fresh air. Its location provided a quiet retreat. Breakfast was amazing in the terrace. Good selection and you are able to get espresso/cappucino if you ask. The service was prompt. There is a supermarket and a pharmacy in front of the hotel, a nice bar/coffee shop by the metro entrance and a superb family restaurant/trattoria not far---Gran Sasso---traditional/affordable/yummy. I had a great stay.
