Very polite personell, tidy rooms, but unbelievable changes in quality of breakfast and front desk service For a 160€ (sometimes 120, depends booking conditions) junior suite it is unacceptable to drink out of plastic cups and eat "rests" of a preliminary event. The front desk personell is very polite, if you have already checked in, any telephone call or email (usually if you call, you´ll get the answer: send me an email) will be ignored. Too many touristic guests out of asian countries treated like cattle (problem not the asians, but the amount and the treatment)
we stayed at hotel selene for one night when in rome. the property is good and rooms are spacious. however the hotel is really far from the city centre. maybe closer from rome fiumicino airport but far from city centre hotspots( almost 45 mins to 1 hour by road). the problem is you cant find taxis and easy commute from hotel. even if you find, taxis will be really expensive(Euro 75-100 per ride). suggest to avoid this place and find something within city limits itself to cut down on transportation costs. buffet breakfast was average too. lot of groups huddle at same time during breakfast and you need to wait a long time for even bread and croissants to be refilled. pretty below average hotel as far as i found.
Was there last month and the hotel was amazing, the hotel is close to Rome and there is Zoomarine which is very nice! Food is fantastic, also they got a swimming pool. Recommend it! I will come back in summer
A comfortable hotel serving good food and drink with decent space inside and out to chill out. As with the other hotels I've stayed at in Pomezia at this time of year, the air con seems to be disabled. Not a problem if you like sleeping in 25C heat or with motorway noise lulling you off to sleep!
It's really far from the train station. They will not arrange the complimentary shuttle to take you to and from. The taxi rides are very expensive to the station. At night, calling the hotel to arrange for a taxi to pick us up at the station was horrible. They claimed someone was coming, but we'd wait an hour to no avail. There is a city bus that worked, if you could time it properly. The rooms were very clean, but you could hear every conversation in the adjoining rooms. We asked for the safe in our room to be fixed. They didn't fix it. The food was okay. The complimentary breakfast was a good way to start off the day. There is no wifi in the rooms. Be careful because they advertise that wifi may be available, but this was not our experience. There is no ability to control the climate in your room. We asked if the thermostat worked because we were trying to get the fan to work. We were told to just open a window.
It was a while back...but I have such a fond memory of the hotel. Great big landscape, and a really amazing pool. If I had a tennis racquet I would've used their clay courts. I would recommend the hotel. Friendly staff, and just a serene location. I travelled back in 2000. So it's been a while. but for a hotel to stand out like this for 17 years is pretty amazing. I searched hotel with clay tennis courts and this was one of the few that popped up and I immediately recognized it by the pool. Such a grand pool only Italy knows how to do. Enjoy the pool, enjoy the courts and love the city. :)
I have chosen this hotel to stay because my customer suggested me. Location is good, good atmosphere. Rooms are clean. Wifi is available in this hotel. Buffet breakfast with varieties of selections. Carpark is available. Well recommended.
Beautiful, modern hotel. Very clean and staff all very professional. Perhaps lacks a little personality because of how professional everyone is but we would stay again. Great choice of delicious food and drink for breakfast. Good size car park at the front of the hotel.
I was in Rome for a conference and this was one of the company's hotel choices. It is an expensive cab ride to the congress center, center of Rome or the airport. I needed to ask the hotel desk to call a cab each time and had a 30-60 minute wait. If your business is near the congress center or the center of Rome, do not stay her. The rooms were clean. The bed was not very comfortable. The hotel desk staff varied in being helpful to being very rude. I do not recommend staying here.
I was in Pomezia for one night while working nearby, rooms are tiny but clean. Bathroom has a bidet which means the toilet is a squeeze in the corner and there is only room for a small shower. Nice bar area except for the many screaming kids. Breakfast decent enough.
