The room was dirty, curtains were torn, holes in the walls, traces of feet all around the room. To flush the toilet, you had to make sure you held on the piece or it all fell in your hands. The hallways were dirty...They also managed to cancel my reservation 3 times in a month before our arrival AFTER the payment had been made at the bank. The last cancellation was the day of our arrival, as we were taking the plane!
The location is great the rooms are ok and the sheets are very clean. Bathroom also looks nice. The breakfast is great and the staff are really nice and lovely people. Didn't had any trouble and had a wonderful time.
We stayed 2 nights in a triple room with 3 single beds nr 370 It was a nice room however inside was quite dark , the light was not so good. When we first got into the room , we found a sock on the floor ( see photo ) . We were quite surprised and we thought that the cleaning was not done properly so we immediately checked the bed sheets. Fortunately they were alright, but we still doubt how the lady cleaned the room . The bathroom was alright , cleaned , towels alright. The water was not too hot so we had to shower very fast not be cold. **breakfast It was the worst breakfast I have ever had in my life. Very very basic. We had ham ( looked very dry and old ) and cheese , jam , butter , bread and couple of croissants alongside coffee and juice. **the guy from the reception was very nice , he offered us a map of the city and pointed out the most important attractions ** the location of the hotel is perfect 16min walking to Colloseum and 18min walking to Fontana Di Trevi 7min walking from Termini station Overall I recommend this hotel only due to its location But don`t have high expectations of the rooms/breakfast
The location is the main selling point for the hotel, just mins away from the transport network but still within walking distance for the attractions.. The hotel for 3star was nice, concierge very amusing and helpful, rooms were spacious, very comfortable beds, air con worked fine, bathroom clean, hot water on demand. I could not get the tv to work but was not bothered. Small fridge to keep drinks cool there was no kettle for tea/coffee. Breakfast was basic continental, yogurts, tea/coffee/juices bread/cheese and pastry just right to get u going in the morning.. Overall for the price a very decent place as we were out all day and only needed a place to sleep.
I read the reviews on this hotel before I went and was not expecting anything fantastic HOWEVER I was not prepared for a tatty broom cupboard! The curtains were partially hanging off the rails. The air con did not work. There was a piece of card in the slot in the wall whereby once upon a time your door card would have says The safe did not work. No tea/coffee making facilities (there were in other rooms ... we were part of a large group all of whom had differing standards of room) The headboard was held in place by the twin beds. The shower was actually quite disgusting. Black mold / mildew covered the shower. There was a cord hanging down which was black from damp. The shower itself was rusty. The water sometimes took 10 minutes to come through warm... let alone hot. As for breakfast ... a very poor effort. Not enough cups, mugs to cover the guests in the hotel. The ham and cheese were cheap. The pastries were ok. It seemed very disorganised and under equipped. Very small too ... couldn't accommodate as many people as were trying to eat. The coffee in the machine was very poor as was the watered down orange juice in the machine. There were some positives: The staff were really very professional and friendly. The room was tidied and cleaned as well as it could have been given the poor standard. It is very close to everywhere and there are plenty of places to eat and drink nearby. Also a macdonalds if like me you need a decent cup of coffee! I am also aware that other members of our group had much more superior rooms (we all paid the same) larger, airier, tea and coffee facilities, a bath. And generally a lot bigger than room 129 ... avoid at all costs! If however you are happy to take your chance and slum it as you just need a place to sleep .. go for it.
The staff was really nice and friendly. Breakfast was normal (nothing special). Location 10 points! Coliseum 10 min away, Trevi fountain about 15 min away, etc. We were living next to opera house (in new hotel building). The view and atmosphere was amazing and the room was so nice and always clean! But at the end of our stay from our room disappeared 50 eur.. that money we put in small wallet and holded on the table (they were for taxi, so we really know that somehow they GONE). So, be careful before you leave your stuff in hotel room..
Very lovely. The rooms are small, but very clean, The breakfast was a nice typical Italian breakfast. The croissants were to die for. It is in a wonderful location. very close to the Termini, buses and metro. The concierges were very nice and helpful.
The room was small (that's normal), but was clean and had a fridge and a good wardrobe. The staff was wonderful - very kind and helpful to annoying American tourists :) They helped us book tours and gave us information about where to find vegan dining, etc. We were able to walk everywhere from the hotel, including the Termini (train station). There was a free daily breakfast (though we're not early risers, so we didn't really partake). Basically, it felt like we lived in the neighborhood and staff made us feel right at home. Grazie!
Reception staff were very good.hotel nizza is clean and in a great location, close to main railway station walking distance 10 minutes. colosseum walking distance 15 minutes and close to some other sites, lot of restaurants around. but hotel nizza is in need of moderation our room could do with a lick of paint, shower was just about warm at the best of times as for breakfast well non existent went down at 9am to find only 2 cups, coffee machine just giving out hot water, hot milk was just hot water, food was none existent. But you pays your money and takes your choice..
This is a 3 star hotel where the air conditioning didn't work, the tv didn't work, not so clean and 2 sheets but no blankets. When those issues were discussed with the front desk I was told that this is a 3 star hotel---yeah I get it but for €110/night I would expect at least a motel 8 level.
