I have not stayed at this hotel however I did book it through Booking.com in December, at the time I paid for it not realising it was a non refund booking, however since then I have been in hospital for 3 operations on my legs, so I have had to cancel my trip to Rome, I contacted Booking.com and the hotel over a month ago to ask for some sort of refund (giving them plenty of notice to rebook out the hotel room) but they have refused quoting terms of contract, I even have a note from my doctor to say that I can’t travel and yet no response, if this is the customer service they give then I would not recommend anyone book this hotel I give honest feedback and have done for many years on TA I hope this helps someone

My worst hotel experience over the last fifteen years, and I've travelled to more than fifteen (developed and underdeveloped) countries so far. They gave us a room in the basement, to which there is no elevator, so that I had to carry two heavy bags down the twelve-step stairs with no help at all. When we entered the "bedroom", it turned out to be a former laundromat with very few changes (a tv set plus a tiny toilet). The room's walls may once have been white, but today they are dirty and blackened. No wardrobe or anything like it. The bed linen are dusty as if they were there since the caesars' age. Two of the three lights didn't work. We couldn't open the only window because right outside were the central heating boilers and pipes (including a few rats, for it must be the warmest place around). Of course, the staff never told us anything about the conditions for this +70 euro "bedroom". What can I say? RUN AWAY FROM THIS JOINT WHILE YOU STILL CAN.

This hotel does not look like it declares itself... Noisy (from street), small rooms, broken items here and there, poor cost vs benefit rate , some very impatient staff , minimum breakfast, ... Do not forget, before you book, that you still have to pay an extra 4 euros per guest /night as city tax ! I just felt that what they were really selling was "location ", nothing else.

I stayed here for a weekend with my mother and sister. After arriving late in Rome we were moved hotels to this one. The staff especially the lovely gentleman that works on reception on the morning were friendly and helpful. We had our room upgraded at no extra cost for the inconvenience caused by the actual hotel we had booked. The room was warm and welcoming overall a perfect staff in Roma. Ideal location easy access to trains, metro and bus. Short walk to popular attractions and a shop directly opposite. Looking forward to the next visit.

For a quick weekend of site seeing and soaking up the city, the Hotel Nizza was ideal for me. The location is perfectly central and very close to the station were you have trains, buses, taxi's, scooters and coaches. I was travelling alone and on a budget but looking for something more private and comfortable than a hostel. This was perfect. The staff were the most charming bunch of characters to talk to. I felt welcome and like I could approach them for anything I needed; directions to sites, advice about restaurants and I encountered one small issue with my room which they fixed straight away. I slept well but then I was completely burnt out from a long and exciting day of seeing and topped up with a little local vino. The bathroom was great, shower took a little while to warm but the pressure was perfect. Everything was really clean. I read bad reviews about this hotel which caused me to doubt the booking prior to arrivalg but now I can see that they are unfair and worded too strongly. Sure, I had a small issue with my room and the electricity went out once for 2 minutes but the staff working endlessly to accommodate everyone and resolve issues within a few minutes. It's an old building in the centre of the city, enjoy it's charm.

Very clean room and especially bathroom. More than 500 channels on TV, but most of them are in Italian(I found BBC), but honestly...you are in ROME, you don't need a TV. The hotel is literally 10 minutes by walk far from the Colosseum. The staff is very responsible, communicative, pleasant and friendly.

Conveniently located within walking distance from Roma Termini where one finds easy access to buses, trains, taxis, airport bus shuttles and hop-on/hop-off buses. The hotel itself is nicely decorated, clean, with friendly and helpful staff. Wifi is free and there's park garage next door. My only disatisfaction is the French bed that is too narrow for 2 people to sleep comfortably sharing just one blanket. Breakfast likewise needs a little improvement, added simple boiled eggs would make a huge difference! However, it is very affordable and can be recommended to family & friends. Will stay again the next time I am in Rome...

The room was dirty, curtains were torn, holes in the walls, traces of feet all around the room. To flush the toilet, you had to make sure you held on the piece or it all fell in your hands. The hallways were dirty...They also managed to cancel my reservation 3 times in a month before our arrival AFTER the payment had been made at the bank. The last cancellation was the day of our arrival, as we were taking the plane!

The location is great the rooms are ok and the sheets are very clean. Bathroom also looks nice. The breakfast is great and the staff are really nice and lovely people. Didn't had any trouble and had a wonderful time.

We stayed 2 nights in a triple room with 3 single beds nr 370 It was a nice room however inside was quite dark , the light was not so good. When we first got into the room , we found a sock on the floor ( see photo ) . We were quite surprised and we thought that the cleaning was not done properly so we immediately checked the bed sheets. Fortunately they were alright, but we still doubt how the lady cleaned the room . The bathroom was alright , cleaned , towels alright. The water was not too hot so we had to shower very fast not be cold. **breakfast It was the worst breakfast I have ever had in my life. Very very basic. We had ham ( looked very dry and old ) and cheese , jam , butter , bread and couple of croissants alongside coffee and juice. **the guy from the reception was very nice , he offered us a map of the city and pointed out the most important attractions ** the location of the hotel is perfect 16min walking to Colloseum and 18min walking to Fontana Di Trevi 7min walking from Termini station Overall I recommend this hotel only due to its location But don`t have high expectations of the rooms/breakfast
