Great location, very clean but definitely needs some renovation.

Hotel Julia was a decent hotel to stay at. Me and my wife stayed here 5 nights. The room is small and outdated but was expecting that because after all it is Europe and we were in Rome. The bed was a bit firm and was basically two twin beds pushed together. Me and my wife kind of had to sleep seperatly because it was uncomfortable to sleep near each other without the divider from the twin beds. Shower was nice and a decent size. Hot water and good water pressure. There was no actual noise from other guest but our room was by the street so 3/5 nights we were woken up by loud noises, talking and radios blasting because of our window facing the street. Front desk didn't speak to much English and was hard to get advice or suggestions but we figured everything else on our own. The location is amazing though. 5 minute walk from the Trevi fountain and the Patheon, 10 minutes from the Spanish steps, 20-25 minutes from the Coliseum and about 45 minutes from Vatican City. We walked EVERYWHERE. The location of the hotel was perfect. During our whole stay we never once took a taxi or public transportation. Because of the location we were able to see everything we wanted. Overall, we will stay here again if the price is right. If you can look past these inconveniences then stay here. After all, we were hardly in our room and left early morning and came back late at night. I would recommend this hotel to stay at.

I'm happy I selected this hotel. The room was small but very cozy. Breakfast buffet was also good, with a variety of options. The staff was very friendly; Pinky in the dinning room was very attentive and even noticed that I didn't have breakfast a couple of days. The receptionists, Kathy and Stefano were very helpful, but Paolo went an extra mile. I would definitely stay again and will highly recommend it to anyone.
