We' ve been at alot of just ok hotels, but this is BY FAR the worst. We choose this hotel under the impression that the rooms had a balcony, and that the view was amazing. Both wrong. We were put in a floor with no working AC, that u also must pay for by day if u want to use it. Had a room next to busy street, not beeing able to sleep with open window. Ended up waking up every morning at 5.00 drenched in our own sweat. Wich the roomservice just made the bed over the dirty sheets again every day, discusting. Missed roomservice one day, and the staff was not able to provide us with a new clean towel, as only the maids had keys. After reading other rewievs I see the management have answered that the rooms are indeed clean. I can assure u, they are not! Discusting! Bathroom are for sure waterdamaged, and everything in there is so filthy I dont even know where to begin. Good Wifi, great location. Unfortuantely that doesnt help this case. Avoid, seriously, No. Just Dont.

The rooms are quite small and nothing special, but the location is great. So close to the Vatican and it is possible to walk to places like Colosseum if you don't mind a 45-60 minute walk. We took the bus a few times too which worked fine. Our room had a window facing the main street and it was a bit noisy on Saturday night, so if you know you don't want that I suggest you ask for a room facing another direction. The reception is open 24/7 and you can leave your key with them when you go out which is perfect because you don't have to worry about losing it. This hotel is a 2-star place and you can't expect it to be like a 5 star. If you keep that in mind this is a good place to stay. Very well worth its price for us (we booked it through Agouda travel agency)!

The rooms are clean, good beds, essential equipment. A good spot to relax after strolling whole days trough the city. Friendly and helpfull staff. Surrounded by nice places to have breakfast and diners.

This room only hotel is in an enviable position , tucked between the Vatican and Castel san Angelo. It is as room onl;y , but there are plenty of places to find to eat breakfast , Ideal if you just need a bed to sleep, clean comfy, polite friendly staff , who speak English well,

This hotel was chosen for it's location and price both of which I was very happy with. PROS: - It appeared to be in a safe area and there was no fear of going out after dark or walking around by myself. It has a nice roof top sitting area is a short walk to Vatican and bus station and metro - 24 hour front desk with a friendly if sometimes distracted clerk, we were in room 47 which is directly across from the roof top terrace which was convenient, some rooms appeared to have balconies There was plenty of hot water. The room was clean although dated. The blinds were electric which is nice if you like to sleep late it makes the room completely dark even during the day - wish I had known when I worked nights dark - We rented a family room to ensure 2 beds since we are brother and sister the room was small but enough for us or perhaps 3 people. CONS: This is not the same as a hotel in the US although it may be common in rome, i don't know. This is more a cross between a rooming house and a hotel. The rooms have no ref. microwave, coffee maker, it is a bare room with beds, wardrobe, desk and bathroom, fresh towels and bed made up daily. They provide a shampoo/body wash combo but no other hygiene supplies. There is no Restaurant, coffee, tea,in the lobby, vending machine or ice at this hotel, there is a mini mart 2-3 doors down that sells beer, soda, milk, pre -made sandwiches etc. there is a tiny restaurant next door but I never saw anyone eating there. We had the foresight to bring coffee bags and tea bags and equal but had to buy a hot pot and got milk at the store keeping it cool in a bath of cold water. The rooms are dated, there were water marks on one wall and the electrical outlets were sketchy at best, some worked and some didn't, the outlets themselves moved when plugging and unplugging items for this reason I suggest bringing a power strip and adapter or buying one there. Be aware that it is difficult to find things we take for granted as being available here especially if you don't speak Italian. It is a lie that everyone there speaks English, you can get by but getting directions or finding a store to buy things may be difficult. I bought the hot pot for 10 euros but a cable for a iphone 4s was 13 euros only after much searching and misdirection. You can hear through the walls if people are talking loudly, coughing etc. The city noise died down around 11pm. It cost 10euro's extra a day for air conditioning taxes must be paid in cash If you booked through a third party the air conditioning, and any other fees must be paid in cash. At the end of trip you must remember to have cash, what happens if you don't I'm not sure but it was a surprise to me that they wouldn't take a credit card for this. Although if you look there is a sign on the wall about the taxes. I would stay here again, but would be prepared with a power strip and hot pot. The location alone at a hundred a night was worth it. I will add photos at another time as they are not downloaded yet.

Ideal location right near Vatican city and plenty of restaurants around. The service is exceptional we arrived 9.15 am at the hotel to leave our cases and were told the room was ready so we were able to freshen up and get our bearings. It's very noisy in the morning because of the traffic but i did have the windows open and it didn't bother us to much. The room was quite cool in the evening so we didn't opt to pay €10 extra a night for aircon. Very clean and any problems rectified straight away plus free Wi-Fi. They will also print off your boarding passes any order a taxi back to the airport for you. It's only a 2 star rating but great value for money we will definitely be using this hotel again.

The hotel is no good. We are very disapointed for many reasons..first of all the hotel and the rooms are very old fashion . Our room didnt have balconionly one window. Very much noise all day and night we couldn t sleep from the noise of the people..no air contition in the price you pay 10 pounts extra per day if you want it dosen't worth you can find better hotel then . No fridge in the room to put just water nothing at all . Also when you live you pay taxes extra. No restaurants nothing to buy for dring. Very bad choice

Booked a few days away in Rome through British Airways and this hotel came up as one of the options. Very welcoming on arrival to the hotel, bags taken up to the room. The room was clean but dated however this didn't bother me due to the cost of the trip along with the limited time of just using the room as somewhere to sleep! Very handy location for the Vatican and a nice stroll along the back roads to other parts of Rome. Tour bus goes from just down the road. I would recommend getting a higher up room as the road noise can be bothersome but the shutters are very good at keeping the noise out

Hotel Adriatic is a hotel in name only. There is no bar or restaurant in the "hotel". While the staff are friendly enough there were some issues. The room while having a large Balcony had no Tea/Coffee making facilities. No towels in the room on arrival, they arrived the following day. The shelving unit in the shower was missing it's shelves so bottles had to be placed on the shower tray itself. Only one pillow per person with no additional pillows in the wardrobe, bed was uncomfortable. Large piece of plaster missing by the bathroom door. Air conditioning in the room has an additional charge as advertised, however €10 per day seems a bit steep. On booking.com they list Airport Shuttle under services, however when I emailed about it I was given instructions on how to get there via public transport. They also listed vending machines for drinks but none there. You can leave your bags there after checkout to store, until you are ready to go to the airport, this is free of charge. In saying all of this the room and bathroom where spotlessly clean. In reflection I would not stay here again.

Clean, central, has all the basic necessities, and friendly helpful desk staff. Nicely situated near street with variety of restaurants, and a just a few blocks from Vatican. Also great to see nearby castle and catch buses into city centre.
