The location was very convenient and the room was comfortable. The shower pressure however was extremely low and water took forever to get hot. Such a bad shower over-shadowed everything else that was great about the guesthouse.

A great stay!

We had a very enjoyable stay at Colosseo Panorama. It is very conveniently located, very close to the Colosseum. I definitely recommend staying in this lovely place.

Prime location, but it's not really a hotel, rather a apartment suite converted to individual rooms with shared common corridor. Some washrooms are separate from the actual bedroom by the corridor, but ours is in suite, probably the original master bedroom. There is no front desk or staff, thus the room service is rather limited. They didn't really clean our room during our stay, just changed towels and refolded our sheet. For example the garbage bin isn't emptied. Overall not a bad budget option.

The property was nothing like it was advertised. Basically, it was a residence in a building of other residences. This was converted into an unattended multiroom B&B. The rooms were tiny and noisy. All sounds from the hall could pass into the bedroom and vice versa. We had to find another hotel as this was not what we thought we were getting. The owner refused to provide a refund for either of 2 days. Bottom line it felt like a hostel.

Nice property in a very convenient location close to transport links. Very welcoming and accommodating staff. As we arrived, was also greeted with the great news that we had been given a free upgrade due to a cancellation, which was generous of them. Would definitely stay here again

We were here for two nights. Easy communication with whatsapp. Ok room. We had a "private" external bathroom, but we couldn't lock the door from the outside, this was a big minus.

This was a perfect stay for a good nights rest. We had a bed, a mini fridge, a private bathroom, a nice view, and always felt safe. This place was right down the road (about a 5 minute walk) to the metro and Colosseum. There is no front desk and it's no Hilton. If you need those things, this isn't the place for you. It gives you a nice, safe, clean stay while you get to explore Italy and enjoy Rome.

Location is everything!

Basic but clean room with good size private bathroom external to the room. Location is fantastic, we could see the Colosseum from our window and walk there in 5 minutes. Communication from the owners was quick via WhatsApp and very helpful.

Good size room and bathroom, Jetted bath worked well. Towels and complimentary soap, shampoo shower gel and moisturiser. Bed very comfy. Small fridge fine. Air con worked well. Could see coliseum by looking up the road from window. Otherwise view of some properties needing renovation and some graffiti. Good spot next to tram, busses and metro 10 minutes walk. Coliseum 10 minutes walk. Handy little shops bars cafes close by and larger restaurants 10 minutes or so. Olympia was very friendly and easy to communicate with, she very kindly helped me by ringing the airport to confirm my transfer pick up from the hotel as the number to ring was confusing. Would have loved a kettle in the room and maybe Access to an Iron but overall well worth what I paid. :0)

Ideal location in Rome

Ideal central location. 2 minutes to the colosseum. Nearby cafes for breakfast are great. The room was comfortable and clean and the lady who checked us in was pleasant and helpful. Our room was ensuite but some have external private bathrooms. This is more of a guest house than a hotel. There are only 4 bedrooms and there is no reception desk. The owners are available by phone if you have any problems. For us it was fine as we didn't spend much time there and it is very good value for money. The only minor suggestion I have is that a kettle would be useful in the room. I would definitely stay again.

Nice large room with giant bed/ bathroom and spa bath. I would not call this a ‘hotel’. The room was never cleaned and for a 4 day stay we didn’t have fresh towels once. Street below was very noisy and alongside rooms either adjacent or above, we were woken through the night on several occasions. Absolutely zero ‘panoramic’ views of the colloseum, as the name falsely suggests! :(
